    U should do a video with q shower with 2 lineal drains. Where I am if u have a curbless shower u need 2 drains going to sepperate plumbing. They need to make a lineal drain with 2 drains built in. I'm not sure if I should have them right next to eachother or a gap in between for tile?

    Just picked up last week an Engineered Stone for my bathroom curb . Why do think an Engineered Stone is most suitable for curbs? I just went with it because it’s one piece, less grout lines, clean and modern look. Thanks for your great content! 👊🏻

  • @jpbiscaro8694
    @jpbiscaro8694 3 ปีที่แล้ว

    All we ever do is the stone curb. Personally I think it just such a cleaner look. As well its a lot easier I think as an installer to get it level and tilted properly for draining and glass measuring

    • @bonniedaves9580
      @bonniedaves9580 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Can you pls suggest a brand or a picture? Where can we purchase these stone curbs? I like the clean lines concept and no grout on piece.

    • @jpbiscaro8694
      @jpbiscaro8694 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@bonniedaves9580 your tile supply store will usually carry these. Or you can get a granite counter top store to make one for you. Some customers have done that when they want the counter top and the curb to all match and tie into one another.

    I have a couple questions that I really hope you can answer. I have never used engineered stone before. I plan on using some for the top of the curb on a neo-angle shower. I picked up some Satori brand and a 6X36X 1/2in. piece weighs in at 12 lbs.....is all engineered stone that heavy? I wanted to run a solid piece from the curb edge up the wall on each end, can/should that be done? At 4 lbs a foot how would you make make sure it stays seated in the thinset until it sets up??? Is there another kind that doesn't weigh as much as the Satori? I wanted to put it up the wall to be able to attach glass block for the surround......help direct me to the right product PLEASE and Thank you!

    1) What is your trick to not chip the tile edges when sawing? We have 15x30 porcelain tiles.
    2) How do you measure the size of the metal trim? Do we account for the tile and mortar that squishes through the holes?

    • @MV-wb2cz
      @MV-wb2cz 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I use the same thickness as the tile itself for tile edges. Cannot comment toward you chipping the tile as I don't know what saw or blade you are using, but it helps if you have a good blade (not home depot ones)
