I didn’t read the other comments but as for the hemi tick. There are two possibilities: 1 the lifters get worn and get stuck which then damages the cam shaft. To fix this issue install non MSD lifters and install a better cam. 2 issue is the header bolts will break because Dodge uses cast iron headers and the bolts are aluminum. The heat is the main issue. Install ARP studs and then go with either shorty headers (not BBK lots of failures since COVID) or long tube headers.

@Atlanticbeachcustoms if you do the timing kit, here's a tip, once you have your timing set on the cam and crank, zip tie all the tension out on the chain, out on your chain guide, oil pump, and tensioner, tighten only the top bolt on the tensioner, cut the zip tie, then you'll be able to bolt on the final bolt on the bottom of the tensioner, once you have it torqued down, pull the pin on the tensioner, and your done, put the timing cover back on and you're good to go 💪🏽

Nobody looks at the floor so instead of spending money on carpet that your are going to cover with mats, build up the rest of the interior.

Just keep the vinyl floor and save yourself the headache of pulling the mats and vacuuming and putting the mats back. You'll also save yourself the inevitable need to shampoo the carpets later.
Nobody looks at the floor so instead of spending money on carpet that your are going to cover with mats, build up the rest of the interior. Maybe buy the better looking consumer console, get a new steering wheel, new headliner, Atoto Carplay head unit, etc.
Don't know what the full carpet set costs but I'll bet it goes a long way towards buying better seats than those base seats cop cars have. So many other interior bits that will reward you more than the carpets.
@@SHO1989 I think you’re spot on! I was thinking about that after I mentioned it. It was so easy to clean and with sand and dirt in my cars all the time it would actually be super convenient and easy to clean. I think I’ll stick with these vinyl floors!
Alsoooo you called it, I’m going to be replacing the steering wheel, redoing the headliner, bigger screen, and some custom seats. Stay tuned and thanks again for the advice!😄🤙
@@SHO1989 Very true
The hole in the front of the front doors is for the defrost of the side windows
@@stevehenson5737 Gotchaaa thanks Steve! It just seemed like a pretty big hole and with it being a stripped cop car I wasn’t sure if maybe something else was there😂
Drove one that was awd..great police car very fast..in 40 yrs of police work one of the top police vehicles I drove..
@@thomasmoroney4993 Wow really?! That’s awesome to hear, I can’t wait to get this thing driveable and test it out for myself!!
There should be a button on the backside of the steering wheel that is an ignition override..it was for when you got out of the car in foot pursuit you could leave the car running..and if someone got into steal it …it wouldn’t come of park..as long as the fob was with you..the car was going no where..
@@thomasmoroney4993 No way that’s awesome I’m going to check for that tomorrow!! Thanks for all the info😄😄
Let me save you some time and hassle. The weakest Link is the center carrier bearing on the drive shaft snd the second weakest Link is the coupler between the trans case and the transmission.
Awesome thanks for the tip!!! Do you have any other tips or recommendations?
@@Atlanticbeachcustoms Cam and tune kind of a pain in as I recommend nice set of headers exhaust and call it a day oh yeah, and the tazer is gimmicky junk, and won't allow you to install paddle shifters like a normal civilian car because nag1
And stay on top of the front axles the're consumable in these chargers
