What air assist pump are you using, and does the laser support air assist out of the box?
Can you use this setup on a cr10 smart pro?
I’m new to using the laser module on ender s1. Where did you get the test file that you used on the slate?
You have no ventilation? You really REALLY don't want to be breathing in the fumes created from laser engraving.
Meh it's just a bit of lung damage and cancer it's all good
Does it have built in air assist?
Interesting, would like to see more on this.
Can you get universal gcode sender to run your setup I've been struggling to get it going that way.
You could probably mount a pico projector above the print bed to visualize your engravings. it would allow you to line up larger prints
Will it work on the ennder two pro
Hey, my sd card won't work for some reason. When I hit the button it homes then beeps 3 times, and it doesn't do a frame or anything. I hooked it to my PC and it worked with Lazer grbl. I also formated the sd card multiple times with no luck and tried two different ones. And suggestions?
Where did you get the honeycomb bed from?
From creality as well
@@ebpman do you have a link?
@@ebpman can you give us a link? I'm having a hard time finding one that fits my ender, most are big
Does anyone know why the laser stays on without me giving instructions?
I am assuming it does not come with the air assist? That must be purchased seperately?
The air assist and honeycomb laser bed are all separate purchases you would have to make apart from the laser module kit.
I bought one of these, got it working great THEN I upgraded the firmware. BAD idea. Now it moves in the opposite direction as before. Can't home it, because instead of moving left, it goes right and can't find the limit switch. Can you possibly tell me what version of the firmware is installed on your Falcon unit?
If you never figured it out I can help
you need to go nice AND slow to make it work!
Can you share with me how you fixed it. I finally go around to installing it and the unit goes right instead of left to home, the y axis does not event move. Please help/

Wow, looks great!
can it engrave aluminum?
Hmmmm, guess welding gas would be an option...
No way this is a thing thats insane

Cool so zero installation info.
That laser has was dangerous as hell! Doesn't the shield cover the laser better than that? Wtf is it with these cheap laser setups?! Doesn't anyone care about safety anymore ffs? I can't believe you didn't even mention that about this... and you're a "tech review" channel? Wow dude!
100% This thing is dangerous as hell and shouldn't be used outside of a full enclosure (non reflective, preferably as black as possible) with a window/view shield at the proper wavelength for the laser. Thats what I'm building for mine before I even put it on the ender. As a photographer I can't do anything without my eyes.....
@@patrickisswayze3446thank you!
@@jeffallen3382 well here's the thing. That camera said it all. If that didn't have it's ir glass in front of it (that greenish glass that sits in front of your sensor in a camera) the sensor would of been cooked. Now you're in a white room and that thing is reflecting and refracting off every surface in there... That's no good for you n your pets. I work with a lot of different wavelength filters and I modify cameras to be full spectrum. So I have a little better understanding than most people of what's dangerous and what's not to the human eye because the stuff I work with you can literally go blind by holding it up to the light and looking through it. So I tend to err on the side of caution with these things.
Price wise, how does it compare to a basic/cheapest laser printer kit? I do have a feeling that this is more expensive isn't?
I'll leave a thumbs down since you don't care answering comments anyway.
