- MHR sunbreak gives the long sword a bit of a tune
this time i am farming some monster for long sword build
while still getting used to the flow of combat

Nah, I 100% agree.
Something about world LS feels more natural and heavy compared to Sunbreak.
World required slightly better knowledge of the fight since it was slower, meanwhile sunbreak has insta counters that can easily be spammed.
As someone with wayy more hours on rise, I find the rise ls so much harder to use. You have more insta counters ye but you also are fighting much stronger and faster enemies. Ls in world is much more realistic meaning you at least have space between attacks to think, with rise I am constantly on the edge of my seat trying to survive
@@infernun6625yep, even with everything being instant now, I regularly find myself not having enough time to think about my next actions.
I’ve picked up Swax actually because of that, it reminds me a lot more of World and Old Gen LS than Rise LS does.
Overall, i like the MHRise LS more than the MHW LS. Wide variety of movesets, i like having more options.
But i do think MHW helmsplitter is better than MHRise helmsplitter, thats for sure.
agh i hate long sword users (60% of the mh player base)
