- Once again, my dream was destroyed and taken from me at the last hurdle. I would have continued grinding for that low 6 run but at this point, I'm exhausted and I think it's time to stop. Surprisingly, LS can go sub 6 with only 2 nova skips, but good luck to whoever who wants to grind for it because it's worse than hell.
I'd like to thank all the peeps from redditcord, the event squad for all the support, concern and times that they've had to listen to my cope. Words can't express how much I appreciate it. First things first, this deserves an out of this world CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!, even if that ending hurts. And man am I not proud AF to watch you do what you've accomplished in this video. In fact I'm actually the proudest friend right now. Watching you grind and suffer through all your hard work and efforts, I'd just watch in awe as to how you continue to push those walls. Your mental capacity and skill as a player who's pushed through all these months, AFTER burning out on the game, let alone Fatalis - is what makes you a legend June. As a player who has never learnt LS, never did I think I would get down to scripting crazy scenarios and just having such stoked discussions about new strats, builds, what not with the WR holder kekw. Anyone, hell even myself, would've labelled me unfit to even talk about the weapon, let alone this fight when I have absolutely no experience but watching June's runs on it kekw. But somehow, you being the amazing friend and person you are, not just entertained it but included me as a part of the grind. You'll always be THE longsword wonder June, and no one, no matter how hard they grind, can top you, at least in my book. If anyone deserves this record (and some actual legit rest lmao), its you my friend. I'm just honored and so proud that I was there for some part of this journey. Congratulations! LETS FUCKING GO FAM

This may not be the fastest run, but it is however the coolest run I've ever seen by a long shot, more than any other LS run. Glad I got randomly recommended this, was incredibly fun to watch

I feel you so much on the grind when you put in the work and the time is not there, you just feel absolutely miserable and at a loss. but chin up dude, this run was actually fkn bonkers, filled with boss ass gameplay and genius scripting. Sometimes you gotta take a step back and appreciate for what it is, and not focus on just the time. Take it easy 8th you are an absolute legend 👑
Man holy shit its dre. You're such a legend yourself. I spent far too much time tinkering on the script and trying to optimise to the last detail but as you can see fatty and the map are always actively trying to stop me and derail the run. Ending was really heartbreaking but what you said is indeed true. While the result wasn't what I wanted, I guess that doesn't take away from the all the work put into it. Thank you Dre, this really means a lot.
How was the ending bad ? I thought it was perfect tbh
@@aliens1990990 assassin's mantle is supposed to give a 1.5x damage boost if you attack the monster while hidden (in smoke). For some reason, the damage boost didn't apply at the end. Also, the first smoke didn't work/was too slow (fatalis continue his attack animation) which lead to another 5s wasted. Overall it was about 15-20s wasted because of the hood and smoke not cooperating.
this run is far most realistic to me, the creativity and the execution is well applied. I wish I could have watched this back then when MHW was at its peak. great job bro.
As a Runner getting into the LS Fatalis running space, this was a banger to watch. The scripts you had were really solid and intricate. Seriously nice work on this run!

Sorry for watching late June! Ah, how the time flies so fast. I'm not sure if it's worth grinding again at this point, you've done almost all you could to improve the run. I'd agree, perhaps it's time to call it a day. Nothing left to be said besides perfection imho. Thank you for all the lessons you gave me and the hunts we had (and all my copes you had to deal with 😂), they would definitely be something to remember. Looking forward to your next amazing contents in the future in another games!

You'd also be surprised how much faster the run can go still. The limit could be 5'30-5'45 even. I won't rule out running him again, but definitely not anytime soon.

As a new player who beat iceborne with the help of friends, this is by far the best solo run ive ever seen. this is utterly amazing.
To be honest, my inferiority complex makes me resent most speed runners.
However, after fighting fatalis many times now, and realizing just how difficult he is, I can say this with absolute certainty:
Your video is an inspiration to me, and all of us aspiring for greater skill with the longsword.
I can't imagine how many frustrating hours you've spent learning this fight, and practicing it over and over until it was down to a science.

Thank you park. I saw your previous comment but maybe you deleted it? Anyway assassin's mantle damage was low because the dmg increase only applied to the shb thrust. Why? I myself don't know, after countless hours of testing sometimes it just refuses to work for unknown reasons especially in P3.

@@ParkJunHa0321 you mean my failed attempts? Yes there are many. I actually had 6'36 and 6'38 before this. Many sub 7s but sub 6'30 was very difficult. The few sub 6'30 attempts I had all failed because assassin's mantle didn't work properly at the end 😂. Can't imagine if I had better luck + played a bit more accurate this run could have been sub 6.

@@ParkJunHa0321 I can upload clips of my many many different attempts compiled and post it here if you're interested. Yes way too long, tried too many different scripts and had too many heartbreaks. I really would have continued but for my own sake I think it's time to stop.

I've fought Fatalis several times with my friends and crafted all of his gear. Seeing this video makes me feel I don't deserve to be using the equipments until I successfully solo Fatalis once lol.
