Can confirm, the mod is absolutely fantastic. The bosses are very difficult at first to learn the moves and patterns. Fees like fighting pure vessel, NKG or Abs Rad for the first time. Once you learn the fight, that feeling of satisfaction is sooo good. I’m still working on beating the champions call. Made it up to the final boss’s bonus form. Time to practice. Great video commentary. You were spot on. Your going to have to try for yourself
I thought this DLC was only bosses, which don't really attract me as much as other aspects of hollow knight, but with the new charms and improved lore I am convinced to try it out
I really wish team cherry implements this as an official DLC If you know The binding of Isaac, some modders team made a huge mode (Antibirth) that eventually made it up as an upgraded official DLC (Repentance) Maybe after Silksong release we could see something like that (i doubt it but it would be cool)
Haven´t gotten to play the dlc yet, but from what I´ve seen it would absolutely be my fav dlc of the game. I love the creative design of the bosses and them seemingly being quite a stepup from the base games general difficulty., as I love challenging myself. But about the video, can´t stress this enough, the editing, humor, structuring and music choice was once again simply put top notch. Please keep this up man, you´re going places. Also hearing the Rito Island theme put a smile on my face, thx for that too :)

Youre slowly embracing the idea of the floor ranking, "HE YEETS THE FLOOR NOW" plus youre close to 10k and theres beautiful floor even on the dlc (beautiful video, its insane the community made a dlc with the quality of he og thing)
imagine you beat pale court, and when you leave, there is an extra room leading to a revamped pure vessel fight, but he uses the strongest attacks of each champion on the pale court (isma's "thorns of agony" attack, ogrim's spike shockwaves, hegemol's "earthquake ", ze'mer's slashing attacks and dryya's fast attacks)
i love the editing so much lol, its so good. also yeah, abyssal bloom is op, it increases with sharp shadow, and with fury of the fallen and unbreakable strength as well, it can do 92 damage. pure nail does 21... 💀
I found a GAMEBREAKING bug, joni's blessing and abyssal bloom, since abyssal bloom doesnt take lifeblood hearts as hp, as soon as you put the two together you are IMMEDIATLY MAX POWER, Combined with mark of purity this build becomes absolutely ridiculous

I saw the Hegemol randomly on TH-cam. I immediately launch the game to dream nail the Hegemol statue to find out it's not really in the game. I found out it's a fan made DLC maybe two weeks after. I was really shocked. Like, ALL THIS IS FAN WORK???
I want someone to make an 'extremely unnecessary bossfights' mod where there is a full-on bossfight for nearly every character. Some of the weaker ones like Elderbug would die in a few hits but imagine Willoh, Iselda, the Midwife, Tuk, Jiji or Jinn, the Hunter, the Last Stag, Cornifer himself, there is so much opportunity for ridiculous bossfights
I play the pale court for myself, and I got to say it was amazing. Also when I was scrolling on my iPad, I saw an article about it on game rant also miles nuggets As you continue to achieve your desires at the same time, you inspire others to work hard for their ambitions no matter what .you are amazing have a nice days stay safe and enjoy life
Vessel's lament is underrated fr. So underrated you forgot its main feature, enemies youve hit will also spawn your attack, damaging them and and nearby ones. Second best gealing charm behind SLUG!

As someone who also hasn't played it, but has watched gameplay of it, I agree it fits almost perfectly with the regular game. Only 3 things feel off to me: 1: Dryya and Ze'mer create landing shockwaves when they would realistically be way too light. Like seriously, Dryya's body is so thin you could probably snap it in half, there's no way she can make a shockwave. The same thing to a lesser extent applies to Ze'mer. 2: Some of the charms are extremely unbalanced, which breaks the immersion a bit, and the way you get most of them doesn't make any sense. You don't find them or get given them, they just... appear, after you defeat the boss in question. I feel like making the way you obtain the charms less weird would go a long way. Apart from those things though, this mod is really cool. I will probably check it out sometime.

The only thing I’m disapponted in is that we never even got a true Pale King boss fight in this. Like it would have been insane if the pale king was the extra boss of this DLC.
Honestly the new music gave e Undertale vibes, I love it. Everything about this dlc is amazing, and I especially love that they expounded on Ze'mer and Traior Lords daughter

I feel like it would be cool if they added the pale king as a boss fight. Like you could dream nail his body or something

If I had mark of purity I would equip it with quick slash and the longer nail charms to see what happens
