I have to say the English voice acting is excellent.... but the line in Japanese when overhaul says to hand her over .... Deku ties the cape and just says “Never” is better than “Eri hold on”
I'm glad someone finally enjoys the dub😂 Hmmmm, I suppose. Although, I don't mind either line😁
It's the lip flaps man, they make everything so much more complicated

@BlackRose D I absolutely agree. I can just relate more to the english and get more out of it emotionally because I understand it. I don't understand Japanese so all I get it what I read.
But the Subbed is honestly not that good. The dialogue is confusing, the voices are too similar, and Mirio's voice actor in Japanese seems to struggle with expressing emotion. Mirio's english VA makes me cry with his emotion.
This series REALLY makes good use of the talent of their voice actors in both English and Japanese, and the atmosphere of the music and animation. GOD that was an amazing episode.
Also: LOL, Might Guy. I love that.
Literally my favorite episode of the entire series thus far!

What makes that hug so emotional for me is that Eri has never experienced love. Her mother left her for dead, and she accidentally reversed her dad, and Chisaki only abused her. She has never smiled. Her being embraced so lovingly should shatter anyone's hearts.

@@Xkaizen23 its not just that the voice acting performance is depended on the animators and have them right next to you and being able to ask them what is the emotion they thought of when they drew the scene is crucial it can work the opposite as well I would never watch Avatar in japanese it would ruin the performance 😁

Seems like that to me too, or he read the manga, the expressions are often coming before the actual thing happens and are badly faked. Either that or I'm infinite 100% wrong.
He looked really surprised for those punches' animations, so I'm guessing manga over episode.
@@victornone872 I said at the beginning of episode 1 this season that I've skimmed through the manga. So I kinda know what'll happen, but I don't know the reasons or context behind any of it. Kinda like I have Nighteye's quirk😂😂 My girlfriend is the one who hasn't seen any of it.

i thought the same, the english voices for the screaming are like an insult for the original japanese, i watched the movie in spanish and i didnt like the voice... and i think the perfect voice for midoriya would be (i mean only for the screaming, i think thats the important thing) the same voice that gohan in DBZ has, Laura Torres, DeGRA, you should watch it
