Punter Matt Araiza files defamation lawsuit against his teenage accuser

- Former Aztecs and NFL punter Matt Araiza filed a defamation lawsuit Friday against the teenager accusing him of raping her.
The new filing comes as Araiza's attorneys have viewed cell phone videos of the then 17-year-old girl taken during an off-campus, San Diego State football party in October 2021.
In addition, CBS 8 has learned, a second young woman reported being raped at the same off-campus house five months earlier in May 2021.

He has no case. He admits he had sex with an underage girl. That is not as bad a gang rape but it is still a crime and a scandal that NFL teams may not want to be connected to.
As a recent alumni from San Diego State. And a person at the party, Matt left the party 15 minutes in and never came back. And was never in a private room. Was either on the dance floor, or just chilling in a public area. Im glad Matt has decided to pursue this lawsuit, as his career as an NFL punter came to an end just days after he was involved in a massive lie. Pulling for Matt to get a second chance as he is truly one of the best punter prospects ever. Put him back in the league.

She lied about her age. She lied about who was there. She lied to the police. She lied to the news. There was VIDEO PROOF that she wasn't drunk, and she was VERY willing! She lied saying someone pushed her on the bed. She lied saying she was "going in and out of consciousness". Every accusation she's made has been proven false. Yet, her name is still blurred, her face is blurred, and all the men she accused were publicly shamed and their lives and careers were ruined.
Why hasn't she been arrested for false accusations and lying on a police report? Why isn't her name and face all over the news for the real crimes she committed?

California law says if you're at an event where people can reasonably assume only adults would be there then it's not rpe. For example, if a woman is at a 21 and over Club, any reasonable person would assume she's over 18. Plus the woman is on video over and over again saying she's 18. Not statutory rpe!!!
