Love how Honda flip-flips on black mirror caps. They add them here to be fancy, but the irony is that FOREVER, non-body-color (black) handles and mirror caps represented the BOTTOM OF THE TRIM BIN ... like in the DX in Canada, etc. Like when you had to choose whether you even got power windows or door locks or air conditioning lol ... Black Mirror caps are now baller? lol
I don't get it either. The first thing I'd do would be to have them wrapped in rallye red, as well as the trunk spoiler and side skirts. Also, what happened to door moldings/trims ? Me just me hehe..
I have a 23si really wish it had the led shifts lights. Definitely even more closer to feeling like the type r little brother. But one thing I don’t understand why Honda covers up the front mount intercooler with that grill? The 23 si did that also but you could swap it out with an aftermarket “type r” ish grill which made it look better and allowed more airflow.
Thanks for the comment & feedback! Yes, the LED shift lights make a big difference! The grill is cutout to provide the “optimal” amount of airflow, more airflow isn’t necessarily better! Hope you subbed to come back for more!
@@duketogo666 people who drive modded cars with front mount intercoolers are not worried. Part of the game. You think Evo owners, fk8, fl5, de5 etc are worried? lol
I have to know what the reason was behind discontinuing the Aegan Blue and Blazing Orange. I wonder if the final model year (2026MY) Civic Si, they'll bring the Boost Blue from the FK8 and FL5 Civic Type R, the neon green from the 10th gen Civic Si coupe, a Phoenix Yellow, a different shade of orange.
Thanks for the comment & feedback! Good question! Usually when colors are changed out it’s due to how well they sell, etc. It’ll be interesting to see if they add any more colors! Hope you subbed to come back for more!
@Drive_Culture Already subbed. I'll definitely be back. I might have to pull the trigger on a final model year 2026 Civic Si for its 40th anniversary on the 11th gen before 12th gen Civic Si's start coming about.
Why do they use that funny "purple-red" color on the seats ... it clashes hard with the fire engine red on this particular car. Is there some meaning or history to this?
Thanks for the comment! Interesting! I’ll have to see if I can get a GTI on the channel! I just recently reviewed the Audi S3, so check that out if you haven’t already! Hope you subscribe to come back for more!
Thanks for the comment! They look close, but it’s a different wheel design and obviously paint color and finish! Hope you subscribe to come back for more!
Thanks for the comment & feedback! Interesting perspective… if you put the 2024 & 2025 side-by-side, the 2025 fascia looks a lot like CTR to me! Hope you subbed to come back for more!
I'm done buying these. We've owned a few. It's had the same hp for 20 years! The sedan looks okay, but the coupe was distinctive. Their bringing the Prelude back. Their seems to be a disconnect in the company's direction. I'm going to stay away from Honda for a while.
Civic Si was originally a mild hatchback. This lame Sedan is Not even competing with VW Golf GTI. The GTI has a 2.0 turbo engine with 241 HP and a Hatchback design that's way More useful. The Civic's engine is weak sauce. It should have been an updated K20C4;18-22 Accord 2.0 Sport and offered as a Hatchback.
Thanks for the comment & feedback! Which vehicle do you currently drive? Let us know if you want to see a GTI or other competitors on the channel. Hope you subbed to come back for more!
@Drive_Culture I drive a Toyota RAV4. It's useful But Boring. I have a large German Shepard and I'm looking for a sporty hatchback. Sedan won't work for me. The Type R is way too expensive with the ridiculous markup.. GR Corolla Hatchback has a small engine that has weak pistons that could fail and VW GTI has the haptic feedback.. I'd be interested in a review If VW replaced that useless feature.
Great work as always brother!
Thank you so much for the support!
Thanks!

Correct me if Im wrong, but does this have halogen tail lights?WTF its 2025.
Thanks for the comment! No, the new Civic lineup had LED tail lights because it is 2025! 😂
@@Drive_Culture Maybe should have a little more sound deadning so it doesn't feel so cheap and hollow.

Thanks for the comment! It’s just the color they’ve used on the seats the last few generations of Si!
17:55 True R&D improvement is amazing! This is Honda’s version of Porsche’s 911 - 992.2. This Civic SI is an FE1.2! 👌🏽
Thanks for the comment man! Yessir! Just little incremental improvements can go a long way!
honda civic is a version of a 911 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
The Volkswagen GTI S is a better value. Especially with the 380 package 😮

Get the recall
Thanks for the comment! Yes, if parts are available, it’s always advisable to get recall work done!
i think the facelift looks less close from a type r, mainly due to the ugly shape they gave the lower grille lol

10th generation SI coupe was the best ( because I own one!)
The Beep is ANNOYING. Can you turn it off?
Thanks for the comment! Seeing how it only happens when you basically hit redline, at least you don’t have to listen to it all the time!? 😂

Yes, you can turn it off in the infotainment
