    Hardware :
Oil painting: Christian Arnould prefers the Rembrandt and Sennelier brand for certain colors. On his palette we find his favorite colors: Titanium White - Cadmium Yellow - Yellow Ochre - Burnt Sienna - Burnt Umber - Vermilion Red - Magenta - Sennelier's Olive Green - Primary Blue and Dark Ultramarine Blue.
    The brushes :
They are flat with long hairs pig bristle, the artist likes to use the Oléo brushes from Raphaël.
    The mediums :
A Venetian medium strongly diluted with rectified turpentine.
The supports: linen canvas on stretcher or on paper in the studio: "These are works that I consider as exercises - experiments to progress. It is less important to paint on paper, I use Figueras from Canson. Although I try to have the same detachment when I paint on canvas. »
Christian Arnould always starts with a first pass (thinly diluted with petrol) to cover the entire support. "I resonate in terms of mass. I wrinkle my eyes to evacuate the parasitic details. Thus, I come back with a second passage more impastoed by working on the right colors and the right values. I prefer a reading from afar. The subject must be understood at first glance: legibility, harmony of colors and strength in writing (the touch - the brushed). »

      Hello , it

Eliane Debard a big mess!! The trees in midground are too symmetrical..and no light against dark...shadows...very bland in values...the path leads into trees..then the eye is blocked with the trees..which do not look like the trees in life...there is no value change within the planes to give depth...what is the main focus here...those clouds in life where amazing...they could have been put in...too busy...no central focal point...too symmetric...eye stopper with trees...

      Yea...seriously disrespectful comment.
Look at how this person is creating in the moment, and sharing it with the world. If your in a trip that all this negative judgment and 2$ laws are obsolete, then Im sorry - you have no idea what art is.

Please show the view of what is being painted along with the brush work. And, at the end, show the finished painting along with the signature (too many seconds on that). The painting is lovely and the artist wonderful. The camera work gets a C-.

Yes you are right the film is rather poorly done, but the cameraman does not know at all the work of painter
