- Hiiiiii! I did this painting a few days ago near Clark, Colorado. This is the first plein air painting of many on this trip. I think it is my favorite so far though! I really love how loose and flowy the painting feels. I don’t have much more to say about it other than how much I love love painting outdoors. There will be lots more videos of paintings from this trip to come! Thanks for watching and reading this one! I love you and hope you have a great day!

Which brand of paints do you use? Do you add a medium to get the creamy consistency? Beautiful!
thank you!! i just use winsor oil paints or whatever oil paint is cheapest at the store! and i just use them straight out of the tube, no mediums
I wanna do this but I'm scared of wasting paint @@leahbeansart
@@leahbeansartyou paint very thick, do you use anything to speed up drying? If not, how long does it usually take for your work to dry?
@@dystopesia don’t be scared of wasting paint!! i know it can be expensive but just get the cheapest oil paint you can and treat it like dirt!!! i know it’s hard to get out of that head space of wasting paint but it will only hurt your painting if you don’t just let yourself waste it!
@@h3m1cuda i don’t use anything to help the drying time. it will usually take 1-2 months for a painting like this to dry!
Did this painting take forever to dry? Those 1/2 inch thick gobs of white paint would take forever in the humid area that I'm in!
@@rebeccaking3514 yes!!! they take about a month or more to dry usually!
Yummy
This way of painting impressionistic with heavy impasto is interesting and appealing however without the comments of the artist the whole thing is a waste of time
