Israeli here -- i'm not even a fan of Ben Ari, but having seen a few of your videos I had to watch.
I just want to say from the bottom of my heart that your empathy (or even slack-cutting) for our tiny nation is very very moving. As an almost terminally misunderstood people things can feel really helpless at times especially when it comes to online discussions. Thank you for your support of Israeli artists! In this time especially! it’s heart warming to see people from abroad going out of their way to show support however they can, it means a lot! I am sad to see people butchering our character, saying we are evil, genocidal nation, as if we wanted this war. People don’t understand that Israel is a small country, serving in the army is mandatory and that our army relies heavily on reservists which means that for six months now people are not with their families, not at work, people who live near the northern border and in the Gaza envelope are evacuated from their homes..this is an existential war that we have to fight and winning it is the only way to break the cycle of war. So that Gaza can be rebuild under an administration that truly cares for the people and to make sure that our people are safe. Every loss of life hurt. This song is the essence of our wishes, it is all we want!!
