    Bro there are a few outdoor type food courts around Singapore that are super cheap and you’ll get the best food. They are famous I’m surprised you are not showcasing them. You can eat amazing Asian food there for a few bucks.

    I’ve been to Singapore before and I go again in less than 2 weeks. The hawker centres are the place to eat more cheaply.

    3:20 USD50 for a small hostel is Singapore, while few weeks ago the same amount of money would allow you to stay in super nice condo with KLCC view in Kuala Lumpur.

    I actually had a pint of beer at 'LAVO' atop of the Marina Bay Sands back in 2019 and it cost me $21.19 Singapore Dollars. It was the best 'Tiger Beer' I ever had... You're in Singapore, Baby!

    For ease of convinient, public transportation in Singapore accept Visa paywave/Apple Pay. That's includes the MRT from Changi airport.

    Decent coffee is Hideously expensive in Singapore...I paid $7 at Chye Seng Huat Hardware in Lavender...Great coffee shop though!

    I got black out drunk in singapore with a friend, woke up next day missing 400usd. Spent like 50usd for a starter at some expensive restaurant, spent a lot on drinks and stupid stuff like a photo from marina bay and then loosing the photo 10 minutes later.

    After you compare our hawker food, MRT, taxi fares with say London, New York, Australia , Singapore is more expensive ? Hotel rates are comparable to those in Australia . No doubt cars are expensive here.

    Bro if u dont compare prices of SG to other south east asia, its cheap except for cars n houses. Our salary is abit lower than usa, so u cant expect our prices to b like in vietnam etc
    Im still eating $5 chicken rice n $1.50 kopi daily tho 🤷

    Lol what a bulls...t. I went to singapore for a total week. The hotels are super cheap. ~20 dollar per night. The food quality is awesome and you spend in a hawker center less then 1 dollar for a meal.

    In SG everything is artificial, nobody true, depression all over, a harsh routine to prolong the consumerism of malls with air conditioning, Malaysia deserved better, the port ($ and transport bizz) is the key of this story. It is a small artificial box with low-cost employees from poor Asian countries of surrounding real countries. After this, we should see that high QIs, are served by the lows ones. The same system as the ships of cruises

    I had a 10$ glass of fruit juice in Singapore in 2014, i haven't been back so i think the price of that glass is even higher now..🤔

      $10 back in 2014 is expensive. You can get one for less than $5 if you get them at fruit hawker stores and probably less than $8 if you get them in malls even in 2022.

      It’s most likely you were at a very pricey restaurant or bar. Most places don’t charge that much, even Wine Connection only charges $5 for orange juice.

      @@SuccessforLifester i was with my daughter and SIL in something like a food court somewhere in a tourist spot, when i had to go to the CR first while they ordered food, my SIL handed me Singapore bills to buy juice since they don't know what i'd like.. i was shocked to find out how much were a glass of juice! My daughter told me to stop converting the prices in PH peso but i just can't help to! Lol. My daughter and SIL are based in Malaysia and we just went to Singapore for a few days vacation.😊

    So basically Singapore is like KL or Penang but 3x the prices 😂.
    Jokes aside, as a Malaysian mixed Singaporean I remember as a kid we used to go to Singapore to buy cheap stuff like canned lychees or other imported goods. Now it’s the other way around. Even when I worked there 20 years ago things don’t feel as expensive.
