If u look closely you can actually see a difference the first one has only 2 layers of foam and the second one has 3 layers of foam and the middle part has a foam the provides airflow while the fourth one has 4 layers.......this guy really is seeing how there are different layers and proceeds to say there is no difference when clearly there is company’s use this to put different kinds of layers of foams depending what tops they are and this guy doesn’t seem to know that.It would make sense if they’re using the same foam to make it appear bigger but you can clearly see from the last two they are using different layer of foams
Awesome thank you so much thank goodness I have a customer dated done in leather and I just put a 3 inch high density bamboo charcoal topper on I think I’m going to get additional topper so I’m gonna have 6 inch of foam, This is for additional comfort and height
You missed a major key point here. Bed manufacturers offer "collections" of product models, and within those collections are often different top designs. Almost without exception, the pillow and euro top models are thicker (dimensionally) than the tight top models within the same collection. One would assume that the difference in thickness is due to additional foam, but I can't confirm that. I have laid on some tight tops that were "plusher" than the pillow top version of the same model, and vice versa. They key difference (assuming that coils are identical) is in the amount of foam and the type and density of foam.
What are the major differences between a Sealy Posturepidic Grand Avenue 14" Cushion Firm Pillow Top versus a Sealy Posturepedic 14" Humboldt ltd Cushion Firm Pillow Top mattress?
I don't know... I'm seeing differences in the foams used, particularly between #'s 1 & 2. And #2 looks like it DOES have different layers that correspond with the seams on the outside. Don't get me wrong: I know (or at least I'm LEARNING) that the mattress industry is crooked in many ways. I'm just not sure that the argument being presented here is 100% accurate. I'll have to check out some more videos from this channel.

What's inside will obviously differ mattress to mattress and that's what you should pay attention to, not how it looks externally. It's a very academic video - in the real world, adding pillow top or euro top obviously adds thickness and layers, but pay attention to what it adds. Look under the cloth, is all.

I totally, completely disagree. This is not quite accurate, the top foam has got a different density that adds softness or hardness to the mattres.
