Literally cannot wait for the potty training episode, docs and fellow parents!! I have a 22 m old who will eventually need to transition out of his diapers, and I know that the process is delicate.
Glad to hear that benign neglect is normal. With multiples you get there on the first kid(s)! Sometimes I worry that they are getting shorted because I know if I had just one I would be a lot more constantly attentive.
hey both. love the channel!! you guys are doing gods work out here for us parents. a think a nice video idea for you both to consider in the future might be paronychia on newborns. This was something that both I and other peers had afflict our newborns at the time. When you look online at the literature, its usually claimed its 'quite rare', and theres little research into how it occurs and more important theres no education for prevention and treatment unless you go looking for it. anecdotally, this is something which affects far more newborns than the literature describes and given its usually treated by GP's, that data isnt working its way into the hospital system. While me and my peers have already overcome it, it would be great for other new parents, as it usually brings with it fever and other symptoms (which is scary for newborns
Could you discuss complications from VBAC? I had a vbac with my second baby and resulted in a distended bladder with retention. I was told this was a rare complication and was so upset when I found little to no information regarding this postpartum. I’m recovered but it made for a very hard time postpartum both physically and mentally. Would love to hear your insight or for anyone else to share their experiences!
I'm going to deliver my baby on Tuesday, im excited and scared 😱. Baby is tiny with one x chromosome. Turner Syndrome doctor decided to remove the baby early. Pray for me.
Hi there, I am a mum of a newly 2 yr old, recently started TCC again. Still early days (month 3), but when do you think would be the time to be concerned about secondary infertility / action things on that front, and what to do first?
Looking forward to the potty training video.. My son is 2 years 2 months and I think his school may start soon. I want to start when they start. Also, I'm in South Africa.. And here they only give the Rhogam shot after birth if mom is negative and baby is indeed positive.. Never in pregnancy as far as I know...
Hi, might not suit you but I just weaned my daughter just after her second birthday. We read and followed the little ritual from 'Boobie Moon' and found it worked really well for her/us :-) Hardly Any crying despite being used to nursing multiple times at night, took to it really well.
You’ve probably already tried this but for toddlers over 12mo switching to lidded cups with straws can work well, especially if they like the colors/characters on the cups. Straws in general tend to be a big hit when they know how to use them. They apparently shouldn’t be using sippy cups with spouts or baby bottles with nipples by this age.
I coudn't reccomend The Positive Birth company (ie hypnobirthing) enough. Likely many US versions that would eb more accurate for the kind of care you would get there (is from the UK, so there was defs some differences for me being in Sg)

Such good insights on parenting two kids versus one
Looking forward to the potty training and toddler videos! ❤️
Can't wait for the Potty Training episode :D we are about to train our boy the next months.
Do you guys have any tips/info for VBACs? Would love to have the data on risk factors between a VBAC and a repeat c-section.
Yes please!!

This is a great idea! We could probably do a whole episode on infant nail care - sharing stories about our own missteps along the way 🤪😂

I just saw bro 2 days ago at the hospital he’s my cardiologist😭😭
Can you please include night training in next weeks video and what age should they be dry at night! 💙🇦🇺🎬
don’t forget that HR rises by 10/min for every 1 degC rise in temp too

How do I wean my 1 year old off from breastfeeding? He doesn't want to take a bottle
