For those watching this video in countries outside of Europe, the Ford Ranger Raptor we get in Europe has less power than the one sold in the rest of the world.
The one in Mexico, South Africa, Thailand, Australia, New Zealand, etc has 392hp and 583Nm of torque.
We can blame European regulations for this, but to me, it doesn’t matter, cos the Ranger Raptor has impressive off-road capabilities; that’s the most important thing.
Can it be fixed by a stage 1 tune? Or do they use worse engine parts? I’m from South Africa anyway just curious
@@spookyreaper1702 You can get a stage 1 tune (it’s legal here) but I wouldn’t do that myself cos it’s too much hassle for me.

In Greece dealership told me that its easy to increase the power to 396hp and they try to find a way not to loose warranty

Here in South Africa we get the 292kw/583nm (similar to Australia) version. Its a whole two seconds faster than this one on take off
in canada we get the 405hp and its a fucking tire shredder
Interesting. In Australia the Ranger Raptor states 292KW so 398 PS and here in the EU it has only 215KW so 292PS .

The non Euro versions have 392HP
We get this vehicle in the UK with diesel engines only, which makes sense. It's a load lugging vehicle, not a sports car, lol.
That was the old one, this new one we get both

@@stiggyness1976 they only made diesel engines in the mk1 ranger raptor. There was no petrol until this mk2.
It’s actually a race truck really, has low load capacity due to the very trick suspension and chassis

@@SourceHades you can get a v6 ecoboost in the uk like the one you see in this video. Its only 288hp due to regulations but you are going to be easily able to tune it to 390 hp.

But that doesn’t matter to me. Its amazing off road capabilities is the most important thing in the Raptor.

same engine as a f150 raptor, which has 600hp and 800nm stock, so i think it can easily get to 800hp and like 1.2k nm

El motor me recuerda a la Bronco II, 4x4, motor 2.9, V-6, con muchas menos marchas pero unas poderosas 3ra y 4ta, Ford ha sido mi marca preferida, aprendí en un V8 del '56, luego tuve un Mustang '66, 289, V-8 obviamente y al poco tiempo un Mustang Boss 302 '70, creo que lo inolvidable es el sonido del Motor, me encantaría una Ranger Raptor V-6 biturbo y parece indestructible, voy por ella

I'm just curious how does the code orange look under the sunlight and when there isn't enough sunlight. In some videos I have seen it looks red at some angles unlike the Sedona orange where you can distinctively tell the color. I have seen a few wildtrak in Sedona orange and I'm in love with it
They are not anywhere similar. The Code Orange looks like a carrot for real. Yuk IMO. Although it looks red in some pics but that is a fraud.

In South Africa we get the 397hp(292kW) and 583nm of torque model. You can blame those emission regulations in the EU

ECU neutered and boost lowered for "environmental" reasons. The EU LOVES to throw stupid regulations at things that make zero difference to the world.
