- এইবার ২০২৪ সালে পৃথিবীর সর্ববৃহৎ দুর্গা প্রতিমা নির্মিত হতে চলেছিল রানাঘাটের কামালপুরে। কাজ শুরু হয়েছিল পহেলা বৈশাখ। কাজের ঠিক ছয় মাস পর তাদের সামনে নেমে বিভিন্ন বাধা বিপত্তি। প্রশাসনিক চাপ এবং পারিপার্শ্বিক বিভিন্ন চাপের পর্যন্ত কামালপুরবাসী মাথা নোয়াতে বাধ্য হলো।
এবার তারা পৃথিবীর সবচেয়ে বড় দুর্গা নির্মাণ সম্পূর্ণ বন্ধ করে দিল। এমনকি ছোট দুর্গাপূজা এবার তারা করবে না। প্রায় ৯০% কাজ সম্পূর্ণ হয়ে গেছে। এতে তাদের খরচা হয়েছে প্রায় 60 লক্ষ টাকা। এছাড়া হাইকোর্টে কেস চলাকালীন প্রতিদিন তাদের থেকে দুই লাখ টাকা খরচা হচ্ছে। এত খরচ তারা করে পারছে না। তাই শেষমেষ পূজা কমিটি এবং ক্লাব কর্তৃপক্ষ এই সিদ্ধান্তে পৌঁছেছে তারা এবার বড় ছোট কোন পুজোয় করবে না। এটাই তাদের প্রতিবাদ। আর এই ভিডিওর মধ্য দিয়ে বর্তমান মনের পরিস্থিতি এবং অবস্থা তুলে ধরা হয়েছে।

This time in 2024, the world's largest Durga idol was going to be built at Kamalpur in Ranaghat. The work started on Pahela Boishakh. After just six months of work, various obstacles fell in front of them. The people of Kamalpur were forced to bow down to the administrative pressure and various surrounding pressures.
This time they stopped the construction of the biggest Durga in the world completely. They will not do even the small Durga Puja this time. About 90% of the work has been completed. It cost them about 60 lakh rupees. Apart from this, two lakh rupees are being spent from them every day during the case in the High Court. They are not able to spend so much. So finally the puja committee and the club authorities have reached this decision that they will not perform any puja this time. This is their protest. And through this video the current state of mind and condition has been highlighted.
