@@GodisaGeek And also the newest port is definitely sub-par. Us Switch owners are stuck with the game's launch edition, and having quest monsters inexplicably, irreversibly, and suddenly despawn, doesn't make for the best gameplay experience. I still love this game, and understand that this situation is temporary and accidental, but it's still not great for the game's image.
This game looks amazing and lovely I will now be ordering it off Amazon. Thank you so much gang @God is a Geek for this spotlight had not heard anything about this and the wife and I love the rpg and jrpg genre as one of our favorite 3 game genre's.
You forgot one of the coolest thing I've seen by watching a friend of mine streaming the game: that some bosses can litterally kick you out of the fight, initiating a platforming sequence to then return to battle.
@@GodisaGeek I know I just waiting for a date for it probably getting it on PC while I wait on the Nintendo switch version this game look kinda unik with both platforming and rpg fights
Horses for courses. The early stuff can be hard because there's so much going on, but also you can screw yourself if you get a party wrong going into a fight. For example, some enemies you have to break their guard to be able to attack, and that's easy because Ajna is the main (but not only) character who can do this. Other enemies, however, are flying and she can't easily reach them - so you need a party that can stagger them out of the air so she, and others, can do damage on the ground. If you enter a battle with the wrong party it can be hard, but if you get it right - very easy. Regardless, it's a fantastic game people shouldn't sleep on!
@@GodisaGeek Well, Ajna can shoot arrows, so no matter the party composition, you can deal damage to flying enemies anyways, you just have to waste one action as Ajna, after which you can do whatever you want with the rest of them. I think a better example would be going into a fight with an all spellcaster team against an enemy which drains magic moves. Those goat shaman things and stupid kool-aid bugs are still my least favorite enemies. They completely invalidate Razmi (one of my fav party members), Ajna's 3 bar special, and half the point of Hunoch and Xiboch.
This game needs more coverage.
Absolutely. People shouldn't sleep on this. We know it's hard, there's a lot of games shipping right now - but this is a fantastic game.

It's not perfect, but it's certainly special.
I had forgotten about this game but love what I'm seeing, especially being able to time blocks and experiment in combat.
Most people seem to have forgotten it existed! It's so good, as well. Yeah, you can "parry" attacks to reduce most damage!
Picked this game up. It’s pretty cool and I really enjoy the art style

Yes!! And their health remains at the same level. It’s just a cool game with so many neat ideas. Glad more people are playing it.
@@GodisaGeek I'm definetly buying it next week.

Fantastic review thanks!
Thanks, glad you enjoyed it.
I get a slight migraine every time I see you block a single target attack with a full party block. Great video though!
Seconding original post. Definitely pick this up.
+jluzin we’ll keep sharing the review and telling people to play if you do 👍🤞
odd, one of the cons is high difficulty wheras another reviews cons was that it was absurdly easy later on
