I love how horrifying these episodes are. Steven Moffat writing with Rachel Talalay directing is just the best combination. If by best you want utter emotional devastation.
Rachel Talalay is such a fantastic director and she did a wonderful job with World Enough & Time / The Doctor Falls in particular. I really hope she comes back for RTD2.
I've been watching Cybermen stories since the Seventies, but they always looked to me like actors in shiny suits so never came across as remotely scary. Right up until this episode when Steven Moffat (and friends) managed to make the most basic of Cybermen designs absolutely horrifying and terrifying. "Pain. Pain. Pain....."
I think for me this episode of like having the partial transformation, with Bill having a giant unknown apparatus sticking out of her chest gave enough body horror to combat the usual silliness some earlier monster designs had.

Seeing Paula’s reaction made me realise how much we wished out when it first came out because the leaks and subsequent confirmation due to the leaks ruined the Simms master return. Also this ep is really underrated in the who community in fact this whole season is.
Paula, at 10:35 pounding the air in triumph "I caught ALL the signs this time Katrina!" ...(11:47 happens) um, yeah, about that... Also, Gomez's take will always be my favorite Master but gotta give JohnSimms full props - the way he reinvented the character will forever influence how the Master is interpreted going forward. And in this episode he exactly walked the line of recognizeability so that the 1st time I watched it the reveal caught me totally off guard, but upon rewatching you can just hear the John Simms in the voice.
I seem to recall being spoiled that John Simm was gonna be in it, but I didn't catch that that had been him in disguise until the reveal, and I remember being in total disbelief that it had been him the whole time. The concept of a Multi-Master story was so exhilarating, and I still love everything about it.
FYI - the Conversion 'Theater' comes from the 18th/19th century term "Operating Theater" where surgeries were conducted large open (non-sterile) rooms in front of an audience of the curious who gathered (and paid!) to see (living) bodies cut into. Medical students learned surgical techniques too in operating 'theaters'. The expression mostly survives today in the UK
I always look forward to your videos for certain key moments. The big reveals are great for Paula, but the look on Katrina's face, knowing what's coming up, THAT is priceless!
I love seeing people's reactions to John Simms return since over here when before this episode aired over here the BBC spoiled it like months in advanced in like the first trailer for the season

The best finale of NuWho. 2:30 I wish they put Missy in opening credits like they did with Clara before. 16:45 I think they also leaked it, cause the numbers for Who were dwindling. I was one of the lucky people who don't follow news about DW, so I didn't get spoiled and got the full reveal, luckily.
I absolutely lOve this episode! I was 13 when it first aired and I remember seeing John Simm in the trailer for the whole series. When the episode came out I had no idea it was going to be him in disguise but my mom worked it out really quickly somehow haha 😂 The stress of waiting for the second half was so bad that at my friends birthday party the next week a couple of us sneaked off to watch the episode instead
This episode, series of episodes of this season hit me close to home at the time it aired. I had just had a major surgery, a transplant, was literally in recovery and seeing Bill walking around with all that stuff hooked up to her was incredibly uncomfortable to watch since again that was me not long before this episode at the hospital. I could imagine the smells of elastic, medicine, medical machinery plastic etc, just ugh. But what a way to finally play on the body horror elements of the Cybermen, which hadn't been done in a while up until then with them, aside from the season 8 finale doing something cool with them. Watching Bill both get shot and then, converted was and still is heartbreaking, this companion's suffering affected me far more than Amy, Rory and Clara, wow, still uncomfortable to watch. I already knew how Paula was going to react, I was like "aw shit we finally got to these episodes"
Like Katrina, I've been waiting for Paula's reaction to this one. The title is from the first line of the poem 'To His Coy Mistress' by Andrew Marvell. " Had we but world enough, and time..." Paula: "This guy reminds me of someone". Me: MWAH HA HA HA!!! When I first saw the ending, it felt like a knife to the gut. After all this time, it still affects me. I think this two-parter is one of Steven Moffat's best DW stories. Unfortunately, the John Simms and Cybermen reveals were spoiled for me, but it didn't hurt my enjoyment of the story. It still worked!
One of the things i really really like about this episode is how it unifies the various incarnations and histories of the Cybermen over the past 50+years (From Mondas, Telos, or Earth? With a vulnerability to gold, or without a vulnerability to gold?) -- not by retconning anything -- but by ever so slightly expanding the notion of what the Cybermen are: A predictable outcome of what humans become -- wherever they are -- if/when they decide to trade their humanity for longevity. The title, 'World Enough and Time' is a quote from Andrew Marvell's 'To His Coy Mistress'. "Had we but world enough and time,/This coyness, lady, were no crime."
Even though the BBC completely spoiled the John Simm cameo in the season trailer at the time, I still didn't really catch on that the guy was going to turn out to be the master. It really was a great disguise.
Always a delight to see people react to the John Simm reveal as it should've been done back in 2017, I'll never get over the BBC's mind-bogglingly stupid decision to spoil this in their trailers. "World Enough and Time" is genuinely one of the best episodes that Moffat has written, and quite possibly one of the best episodes of the entire revived series. The opening act is a lot of fun, it's great to see Missy get plunked into a fairly standard Doctor Who premise and made to act as the main hero, and it's clear that Michelle Gomez is having loads of fun during these scenes. She's been a lot more subdued and understated in series 10 so far, but here she really gets to let loose, from the comically over-the-top facial expressions and gestures, to the wonderful meta jokes (calling Bill and Nardole "exposition" and "comic relief" was one of my favourite gags, and it's a very accurate observation too). In general, I love the way the Doctor and Missy's relationship is explored here, you truly get the impression that for all the fighting and conflicts they've had over the years, the Doctor genuinely wants this to work and for him to have his friend back (I also enjoyed the bit where he reveals the ability of Time Lords to change their gender with regeneration to Bill, and how his pompous declaration of his species being above the primitive concept of gender is shot down by Bill noting that they're called Time Lords). I also have to credit director Rachel Talalay, returning for her third time helming a Moffat finale, for doing such a fantastic job and handling all the various twists and tonal shifts as we go from comedic self-parody to drama to flat-out sci-fi horror. The Cybermen have not been done well in new Who, but this episode finally gave them the classic story they deserved. The episode really nails the body horror element of the Cybermen, and it's clear that the original Cybermen designs from "The Tenth Planet" (actually brought back as a farewell gift for Peter Capaldi, as they were his favourite monsters) were the perfect way to explore this angle. That scene of Bill wandering around the hospital to find the primitive Cybermen calling out in pain over and over again, only for the nurse to simply turn the volume down was such a grim and horrifying moment, I was genuinely surprised it didn't get more complaints when it was first aired. At the same time, the episode nails the tragedy behind their conception in a far more effective way than something like "Rise of the Cybermen" did, where we actually explore the horrible lives the people on the lower floors lead, and from there can almost understand why becoming a Cyberman seems like the best possible option. Having established both the horror and tragedy behind the creation of the Cybermen, it makes it all the more emotionally effective to have Bill, a character we've grown to know and like very well over the last 11 episodes, be put through this whole ordeal. Obviously, Pearl Mackie is excellent in this episode, her interactions with "Mr. Razor" are surprisingly sweet and endearing, and she truly sells the sense of horror and betrayal when he leads her into the conversion theatre to her terrible fate. Speaking of "Razor", John Simm really does a phenomenal job here, he's a really funny and likeable character, making his betrayal of Bill and ultimate reveal of his true identity all the more impactful. And so, like "The Pandorica Opens", Moffat ends his finale set-up episode with a cliffhanger ending that sees every conceivable thing that could go wrong, go wrong. Bill subjected to the worst possible fate to ever befall a companion, Missy being tempted by the Master to abandon the path of redemption once again, and the Doctor being faced with his ultimate failure while his greatest enemy smiles at his misfortune. Even after the big twists were revealed in the advertising, this cliffhanger left me absolutely floored back in 2017, and it really has not lost any of its impact, from the direction, to the script, to the music (the 4-beat rhythm returns!), to the performances of Capalid, Simm and Gomez. It's a phenomenal way to end off this episode, and sets up the endgame for this era in spectacular fashion
Series 10 is nearly over ☹. I love all of your videos and really can't wait for the final episode of the series. Also definitely agree with scone filling order.
In Classic Who there were two occasions on the "Who" name in The First Doctor story the computer villain WOTAN says "Doctor Who is required" in the serial "The War Machines" and The Second Doctor referred to himself as Dr. W in "The Underwater Menace" although not considered canon in The Cushing Dalek films The Doctor is a human inventor called Dr. Who and Who was his surname. Yes Mondas is the original home planet of the Cybermen I believe this is the first time we see The Cybermen from our universe. You mentioned Ainley yes his Master did all those too but Roger Delgado the original Master also did disguises and had the goatee.
I'm in the UK but I didn't know that John Simm was going to be in this episode. I think I was aware that the press had said he'd be returning, but I didn't know when that would be. And despite growing up with classic Who, I didn't cotton on that these were going to be Cybermen! I think the tone helped: I maybe suspected Moffat was going for something horrific that had a thematic similarity to Cybermen, like a rip-off, without considering the possibility of a prequel. This is one of the most brutal episodes that Who has ever given us. Moffat never really gave us the horror classics that might have been expected during his time as showrunner, but this one is just outstanding in my opinion. He also made the original design have an impact for a modern audience. Simm is great in this, too, and I say that as someone who pretty much hated his (or rather: RTD's) version of the Master. The premise of the spaceship being stretched in time is the sort of thing that Who should be doing more of. We get the occasional story that includes something like this, but it's not often enough. It's also just occurred to me that setting this all on a gigantic spaceship probably helped disguise from me that it was the original Cybermen; if it had been on a planet somewhere, then I would've been wondering if it was Mondas.
This was such a great episode, and Paula's reaction to the reveal was so entertaining! Anthony Ainley was a perfect replacement for Roger Delgado since he looked a lot like Delgado!
This is a tremendous two parter. No comments on the Doctor Falls (a Spoiler Free Zone!) But cripes, THIS episode is horrifying, heartbreaking and just plain creepy! I always thunk the original 'Tenth Planet' Cybermen were the creepiest and most disturbing ones and now, in colour, they're even MORE unnerving and disturbing. Fantastic reactions as always ladies, thank you so much ☺
How hilarious would it have been with all the leaks of John Simm coming back, if Razor (played by John Simm) took off his mask to reveal…. Eric Roberts!
Roger Delgado was the Master of disguise and rocked the best goatee ever. I missed the spoiler about JS returns so I was completely shocked at the end and heart broken about Bill.
Jon Simm's return was spoiled for me, but I had no way to watch series 10 when it aired so by the time I could watch it and got to this episode I had nearly forgotten. I spent most of the episode thinking he seemed familiar despite the disguise, then about halfway through I remembered the article I had seen about his return and realized it was him.
I'd managed to avoid anything definitive but there had been rumours for months so I was half expecting Simm at some point in the series (and there wasn't much left by this episode). It was the 'that was a clever lie' line for me, both the delivery and the callback to Matt Smith, that made me realise who it was.
If I remember correctly John Simm's return was released before the or just after the series started. A newspaper not worth the paper it's printed on managed to get pictures of John Simm on set. So the BBC released the news to stop the leak. That's why we can't have nice things. But anyway great reaction and a massive shame Series 10 is nearly over and Capaldi's last dance. This episode showed us some of Moffatt's best form. Even though he id have his up's and downs due to Karen Gilllan leaving early and Smith leaving soon after. I would take Moffatt's era over Chibnall's era any day of the week. Can't wait to see the next two reactions. It's going to be a ride and a half.
How can the exist at the same time?....Who does this quite often, Timelords break the rules by crossing their own timeline. The Three Doctors, The Two Doctors, Day of the Doctor etc....
How can they both be there? The same way multiple doctors can meet and occupy the same space. Moffatt was really keen on doing a multi-master story as we have had a few multi doctor episodes in the past. I knew John simm was returning but the disguise fooled me up until the reveal.
iirc the BBC spoiled Simm's Master return and the fact it would be the first multiple Master story, many months earlier, with a quote from John himself about returning to the role because his son wanted him to do it. They also spoiled us about the original Cybermen returning and again in the series trailer and again in the episode trailer. Still very much enjoyed it, but would have loved to have been surprised - would have been the biggest reveal or two ever, since River Song, but the BBC took that away from us. So it's great to live vicariously through you, as it were, seeing Paula's reaction, going in blind.
Trust you to cut out the quiet bit. Ha! Ha! Time Lords have an affinity with Time and are different enough from each other to have all the Doctors together. Good Reactions Girls, looking forward to the next Episode Reaction.
There was a trailer for the season, before the first episode, that included the Mondasian cybermen, and the previous master. So although we didn’t know when it would happen, by the time we reached this final 2 parter, we knew they both needed to be in it. So yeah, the BBC ruined their own surprise.
After the cringy first part of the episode, this is an amazing one! As soon as the blue guy comes in waving his gun then it gets good! This original design of the cybermen was only seen once in classic who, there first appearance. It makes sense that there the most clunky looking cybermen since its meant to be there first look haha. The first master rodger delgado, who was the master against the third doctor, also liked disguises, he would sometimes pull off a plastic mask in his early appearances
This is such a brutal series. I love this finale but I don't watch it because its just too dark, though brilliant. The show crosses a like, just, into being quite horrific and depressing. Brilliantly written though.
Yeah, a lot of it was pulled from the feelings Moffat got while in hospital with his dying Mother, which happened around the time he was writing these episodes.
Oh, Paula, you figured a lot of stuff out, but how could you foresee the Master reveal? When this was originally broadcast, I "foresaw" because the BBC put John Simm in the freaking season trailer. The title, World Enough and Time is a kind of inside joke as that phrase is from the poem "To His Coy Mistress" by Andrew Marvell
This is indeed the first time he's discussed and/or claimed "Doctor Who" as a name, but not the first time he's been called Doctor Who by someone on-screen. Way back in 1966 the rogue supercomputer "Wotan" told his hypnotised subordinates "Doc-tor Who, is re-qui-red!"
I think everyone in the UK got John Simms spoiled for them! But even if I hadn't, I would've opened imdb in SECONDS hearing his dodgy Russian accent. I can't NOT search cast when watching something
This is absolutely my favourite season finale of all time. Also Katrina I'm afraid you'll never watch the Tenth Planet, the BBC lost the tapes decades ago
The Tenth Planet parts 1-3 exist in their entirety, and Part 4 exists as an animation. It was released on DVD some years back. An earlier version with a telesnap reconstruction was officially released by BBC Video on VHS early this millennium.
Mondas the planet was dying, they launched that ship in the hope to repopulate a new planet. On Mondas they turned into cybermen, in which they reversed the course of Mondas to return to Earth (tenth planet). On they way back they seeded several tomb worlds (tomb of the cybermen, and the 80's book called Cyberman by David Banks. He collected all the story's of the cybermen and made a timeline of the cybermen) So the ship is an offshoot of Mondas showing that time will always make them be cybermen.
I did get spoiled by the BBC, but I also forgot about it and I didn’t work out that the guy was John Simm. My lack of attention to detail paid off here.
I was spoiled as i watched them live and John Simm was in the 'Next Time' However, i was so enthralled by missy and Bill getting shot that it completely left my mind and I was in shock at the character reveal.
Good call on the scones, Paula, and I'm the same - it's dairy product/spread first (butter/margarine or cream) _then_ the topping/filling. That's what we do with any sandwich, cracker or toast, after all, and I don't see why scones should be any different... unless it's to perpetuate a false feeling of superiority among scone aficionados ;)
Cornwall have it right. Cream on top of jam. This carefully considers that there’ll be less ‘jam stain potential’ if all goes horribly wrong when you bite into the scone! Damned clever them Cornish. Oh yeah, this is a great episode and reaction. And you have to be a dyed in the wool Whovian to note as Paula did, that Bills tears are responsible for the ultimate Cybermen’s eye shape. How was the U.K. Paula? Any notable difference from last time you were here, Covid regs notwithstanding?
To be fair, the Devon method means that the cream adheres more easily to the scone, rather than to a slick jam surface where there's more likely to be cream slippage. I do also prefer the Cornwall way myself though, you don't really taste the jam properly if it's on top.
In the absence of clotted cream the usual alternative is butter/margarine, and I don't think anybody would spread jam on a scone _before_ putting the butter on. It's always puzzled me why clotted cream should be any different.
@@ftumschk Exactly! But can you have the triple layer effect of butter, jam and then cream? I would demur because I am living proof that there is such a thing as ‘too much fat’.
I hadn't noticed any spoilers, but being so familiar with Anthony Ainley's Master's disguise fetish, I started attempting to penetrate John Simm's disguise early on, plus I thought that I recognized his voice. Since I saw The Tenth Planet on it's first showing, and it's novelization is also a favourite, I guess that I kind of spoiled myself!
I was spoiled that he was returning - stupid BBC marketing, but I got so engrossed in the episode that I forgot the master was returning until it was revealed.
The original Cybermen make an appearance. The original (Mondas) ones looked cheesy because of low budget. Here they give an explanation for their appearance and I love it. "Pain. Pain. Pain. Pain..."
I made the mistake of watching the season intro at the end of episode 1 when I watched series 10 during its original airing, and John Simm appeared for a split second in there. It wasn't obvious from that shot what episode he was going to be in, but as soon as I saw Razor I knew it was him straight away because I was expecting him to show up. I don't mind the occasional spoiler, but I really wish that reveal hadn't been spoilt!
Not quite right about the leak. Daily Mail (or some such) had proof he was appearing in the series, so BBC made a series trailer that ran after the 1st episode that included John Simm as it was already 100% going to be in the press anyway.
"Clara died 6 times" I mean, technically every death clara had could have actually taken place after the events of Heaven Sent. When she has a tardis of her own. It was just her throughout time, she couldn't die each time and was believed to die each time because she was stuck between a single heart beat. As she said to Me (Maisie Williams) that hey had wiggle room before returning to Gallifrey, the long way round.
idk, we had 13 doctors together so idk how 2 masters would cause a paradox , theyre not even in the same body or share the same atoms or cells for there to be a burst of matter
Come to think of it they spoiled john simm returning way early! There was a trailer for the rest of the series after episode 1, and it had john simm at the end. They also released pics of the doctor and the original cybermen before the series even premiered 🙄🙄🙄
The costume is a remake of the original Cybermen costume from way, *way* back in 1966 and "The Tenth Planet." And the Doctor's incarnations have hung out together all the time...why not a couple of the Master's?
As much as I'm a Moffat fan, this time I was pissed off at what happened to Bill! She was so great, and if this was her 'destiny', Damn!!! I'm still confused by the Master/Missy timeline. Is Missy the next version after his, or are there others?
Yeah, while I'm a MASSIVE Moffat stan, sadly that was two black companions in a row becoming Cybermen on his watch. And while I was glad on one hand that they legit put the companion in peril here (as companions often have 'plot armor' on the show), the track record for black companions was not so great again (and I know that for many black fans I know, this was the last straw for them after Mickey, Martha, Danny, and Bill). :(
I think Doctor Who Magazine confirmed that Missy is directly after the Saxon Master. There was a piece of prose with the Doctor and the Master talking and they say Missy was a past incarnation.
@@nocturne8333 But is that 'official canon'? For me, it has to be explicitly said in the show, like when the 8th Doctor mentions his companions in 'Night of the Doctor'.
considering series 10 is one of my least favourite series, this finale is one of my favourite stories ever! the end of this episode flipping between the master and missy and the doctor and bill is SO DAMN GOOD

Moffat once again proves why he’s the best writer of the revival (and EASILY the best showrunner).

Second doctor called himself 'Doctor Von Wer' Third Doctor called himself "the great wizard Qui Quae Quod"
Indeed, and Delgado beat Ainley to the goatee beard and disguise shtick by ten years :)
@@ftumschk Yeah, the Master was pretty much ALWAYS great with his disguises back in the day!
Fantastic reactions as always ladies, thank you so much ☺
I knew John Simm was going to return, but I didn't catch the disguise. Even with the big twist leaked, its such as damn good episode.
How hilarious would it have been with all the leaks of John Simm coming back, if Razor (played by John Simm) took off his mask to reveal…. Eric Roberts!
This episode and the next two are definitely some of my favourite episodes
Iirc Eccleston was credited as "Doctor Who" as well, even though it was never spoken
Roger Delgado was the Master of disguise and rocked the best goatee ever.
I missed the spoiler about JS returns so I was completely shocked at the end and heart broken about Bill.
Once again Michelle Gomez killing it.
Sending telepathic hugs to Paula.
I did not get spoiled by the BBC or any social media, so I got very very lucky and was able to enjoy it.
Not as much a prequel to the Tenth Planet but more a side story going on during the events of the Tenth Planet
It was sooo annoying that they spoiled the big reveal! Glad you all got to experience it as intended.
Dying is no big deal...Jack and Rory do it all the time...great reaction guys
Oh yes, here we are. This episode makes my heart hurt. I can't wait for the next reaction!!!
Such an amazing episode!
Finally they got her! I never thought it could´ve been possible...
Man, I wish I could have been unspoiled on that big reveal, WHY did the BBC put it in the trailers!?
Because The Sun has leaked it the week before the BBC trailer came out, so the BBC had to salvage what they could of the “surprise”
I saw the shot of Simm in an earlier trailer but still managed to be fooled by his performance. Go figure,
I think everyone in the UK got John Simms spoiled for them!
I thought they found the Tenth Planet episodes, except the last episode?
The Tenth Planet parts 1-3 exist in their entirety, and Part 4 exists as an animation. It was released on DVD some years back.
An earlier version with a telesnap reconstruction was officially released by BBC Video on VHS early this millennium.
It's been animated somewhat recently, though, so that helps!
When I eat a scone, I put the cream on one half and the jam on the other and then put them together.
He collected all the story's of the cybermen and made a timeline of the cybermen)
So the ship is an offshoot of Mondas showing that time will always make them be cybermen.
12:26
They can exist, but like whenever the Doctor met himself (other than 1 time), the past version forgets when he leaves.
Right, now you have to watch "Genemissy of the cybillman" it has a much more surprising ending!!
I did get spoiled by the BBC, but I also forgot about it and I didn’t work out that the guy was John Simm. My lack of attention to detail paid off here.
I'm surprised yall didn't watch the Tenth Planet a while back. It makes these run of episodes so much better knowing the history.
I was spoiled as i watched them live and John Simm was in the 'Next Time'
However, i was so enthralled by missy and Bill getting shot that it completely left my mind and I was in shock at the character reveal.
@@MortalRequiem ‘Cream slippage…’ The struggle is real! 😂😂
Don't forget that Delgado's Master had a thing for disguises from his very first story.
@@ftumschk And who could forget Roger Caesar Marius Bernard de Delgado Torres Castillo Roberto?!
I was spoiled that he was returning - stupid BBC marketing, but I got so engrossed in the episode that I forgot the master was returning until it was revealed.
I know this has nothing to do with GGGWW, but I just got my copy of "Funny Pages", and now I've got Pages and Pages of Puzzles... and Paula!
The original Cybermen make an appearance. The original (Mondas) ones looked cheesy because of low budget. Here they give an explanation for their appearance and I love it.
"Pain. Pain. Pain. Pain..."
I don't remember knowing that John Simm was coming back when it first aired. But I didn't pay attention to any publicity stuff.
I don't mind the occasional spoiler, but I really wish that reveal hadn't been spoilt!
.. and I've never watched a trailer after that ever since.
And Steven Moffat did it again, Paula! One more for the fan club...
... and here we go.
on a comic con panel they said that yes doctor who is his actual name, although they may have been messing with everyone, idk
Paula: "...cause Clara died like six times."
Rory: "Six times? Is that all?"
idk, we had 13 doctors together so idk how 2 masters would cause a paradox , theyre not even in the same body or share the same atoms or cells for there to be a burst of matter
I got spoiled when the at then end of “the pilot” it had the coming soon trailer.
Yay… it’s so depressing🫠
Cream then jam✅
Absolutely. Nobody puts butter/dairy spread on toast _after_ the jam, do they? Same with cream.
YES! Always cream then jam. Congratulations Paula, you're on honorary Devonian. :)
Now Bill is just a Potts head
... that's what you get from hanging around with university students ;)
@@ftumschk usually you go to university to get a masters , instead of the masters getting you in the universe, ouch
Come to think of it they spoiled john simm returning way early! There was a trailer for the rest of the series after episode 1, and it had john simm at the end. They also released pics of the doctor and the original cybermen before the series even premiered 🙄🙄🙄
Sadly I got spoiled by the BBC on everything - John Simm and Mondasian Cybermen too!
Hello from the UK!
Clara, died like six times 🤣🤣🤣🤣
The best episode of Moffat's era in my opinion.
Although stiff competition from heaven sent and doctor's wife.
Day 3 of my binge and here already...
Agreed, jam first is pure madness!
Ow my ears, I had earphones in listening while at work when you squeezed that toy.
Oh noooooo! I'm so sorry! - Kat
The costume is a remake of the original Cybermen costume from way, *way* back in 1966 and "The Tenth Planet."
And the Doctor's incarnations have hung out together all the time...why not a couple of the Master's?
Duh duh duuuuuuuuuhhh!
@@Skeezer66 I think it’s considered official canon, although Doctor Who’s canon is fairly loose anyway.
Next episode... Pain... Gut wrenching pain...
considering series 10 is one of my least favourite series, this finale is one of my favourite stories ever! the end of this episode flipping between the master and missy and the doctor and bill is SO DAMN GOOD
