- This is "A Canadian in Mayfair" by Angela Morley (1924 - 2009) created from scratch using virtual instruments. I have a copy of the full score (no way I'd be able to work this out by ear!)

Two things I love doing in music, making the real sound digital, and making the digital sound real. And man does this sound real!
I keep waiting for the sonorous voice of a 1950s narrator who smoked 2 packs a day, had a steak and a double Chivas every day at noon, wore his pants up to his armpits, and dropped dead of a heart attack at age 49

You absolutely nailed the sound/s of the 50’s with virtual instruments! but these great tools only really work if you have the knowledge and the ear for this type of re-creation and you have that in spades. Brilliantly done, you are truly gifted. Thank you for sharing this and showing us what is possible on a computer with plugins! 😊

This was 5 years ago. It’s now 2023. We have Ai that could transpose this in 60 seconds. Digital orchestras only a musician could tell apart. Where will we be in 5 years from now. ✌️
