My 3M tape wore out on the seat risers and I lost one side. Nick sent me a new one and also included a video showing how to attach them with a zip tie. I’d recommend doing that!
Well we are off the water now until spring. Dipping below 20*F at night and a few days with a high of under 40*. All the docks are pulled in from the boat ramps. I did manage to do some fishing from a bridge and one day got a lake trout about 24” and a few days later got a pike about 36” long and really fat. Both of those I caught when I was using my old 5’ Ugly Stick light rod using a jig head with the Bobby Garland shad in electric chicken. I was actually fishing for perch with hopes of getting a smallie maybe. That poor rod was bent almost in half and it didn’t help that I was 10’ up on the bridge.
I have all those upgrades on mine to, they are all great. A couple others I also got from Navarre are the upgraded rudder bolt, the replacement rod holder with a mini-track, and the replacement handle that lets you mount something right into one of the side handles. All great stuff!!
Good luck in tournament. Love the yak upgrades. I truly believe showing reasonably priced fishing solutions (like your reasonable yak) is part of your audience appeal. Makes you more relatable. People can see themselves fishing like you do. Love it!
I have an Old Towne Vapor 10. I'm a pretty big ol boy ,but I love it. It's a sit in but the hole is huge. Nice upgrades. I need a few of them myself. Go Dawgs.
You did 2 inches in the back and front, I think 2 in the back and 1 in the front would be nice and eliminate the back lean you get from the factory seat. I think his riser video recommends 2 by 1
I bought a PDL 120 last weekend. I drastically underestimated the size & weight, can’t sling this beast around in the bed of a truck. Definitely need a trailer.
Hello Brother I am concerned with raising the 💺. Could that make you more likely to flip over in certain current and wind sitting higher? Hope and pray for the best 🙏. God Bless!!
Wow dude! Its amazing what peiple will waist there money on. I did all those upgrades but i made them myself. Seriously, you can make these upgrades yourself for a fraction of the price. I made front and rear seat risers from presure treated wood. And you can make them any size you want. You dont need that 3m tape. Just drill a couple holes in the rear seat knuckle and zip tie that shit. Those pdl drive spacers!! Really dude. One inch pvc and make them any size you want. Same with seat spacers. Wow! That navarre is just riping off dudes!!!

it can but this one didnt make it that much higher, didnt feel unstable
That was awesome to watch you fix the kayak!!! I'm not good at fixing things....kinda like Tim Allen on Home Improvement!!! Hahaha Hahaha
Pat almost lost it on that Hobie. He needs to get himself an Old Town Sportsman. lol
Did you use the same ramp in the tournament? I got skunked on that one.
yes i actually put in up the river and took out there, the fishing was really bad that day for sure, i caught a few fish
