Woww this is truly amazing footage Andy!! Only once in a a lifetime you will be able to witness such a gorgeous badger family at daylight. What a project and I'm glad your perseverance paid off. Big compliments from Amsterdam! And oh yeah, finally you were whispering again... 😂😂😂! Again compliments for the video, I've enjoyed it enormously!
Wow Andy, what a fantastic video. Without doubt your best one yet. Congratulations on completing such a wonderful project. Your patience paid off with some lovely images to finish with👏👏👏👏👏
Andy! That was superb! Probably one of my favourite vlogs for a longtime! The character of your badgers are superb! Great work, beautiful footage, and stunning images.. seriously fine work my friend. Top man! If your happy I’d like to promote your latest on my social media? Cheers R👍
Thank you so very much Richard, it truely means the world!! 🙏I tried something new and I really liked how it turned out, feel free to share if you want to but no pressure! 🙏😊
You can be so lucky to saw them in daylight. I tried it in early spring für more than 12 Weeks. Only once I got a day video from my installed Wildlife Cam. I got great pictures during the night with the DSLR camera trap. But zero during the day. Great video. Many thx.
Thank you so much! I’ve found that if it’s an fairly undisturbed sett away from people they tend to go out during mid day as well depending on where the sett is located, forrest/open field/urban. I monitized 4-5 sett during this period and only 2 were remote and pretty undisturbed, both showed activity day and night of even during winter. The rest were only nightly activity :) What dslr camera trap are you using? Camtraption? :)
Wired PIR Sensor from Camtraption, Canon 550D with 2 remote Nikon SB27 flashes and the Camtraption remote transmitter/receiver. This combo works very well.
Andy, that was a superb video, which felt really emotional to watch. I’m 52 years old and have never seen a badger with my own eyes, so this video was a great opportunity to see them in action. Those cubs are gorgeous, and you managed to capture such amazing photos and footage. I can’t wait to see what you manage to capture next year! Thanks, Stephen
Thank you so much Stephen, that´s why I wanted to do this project to bring awareness to these animals, not many have ever seen one alive yet wild. Much appreciated !
Hi Andy Just watched this amazing my friend!! I’m doing the same at the moment got some magical trail camera footage of cubs etc ! Got a clan of 7 at my set ! Just a joy to study badger 🦡!! Just thumbs up & subscribed 👍👍
Fantastic pictures! I've been trying for ages to get decent badger pictures, so I know how much patience, persistence and skill was involved to get these. Very well done.

Hey Andy, it's great to see you are back. I was wondering how you have been doing. This is a great video, I bet it was a lot of work and time... though fun. I don't vlog... I do just short videos to share, trying to make them interesting and look right is tough. So good to see you again! Say'in hey.... Greg
