NTA. She can't get this mad because he made the same joke she did. If she didn't want him saying anything like that she should have never brought that up or should have told him in the first place. And all those friends cutting OP out because they don't believe them just goes to show they weren't real friends to OP
Oh my god, a joke doesn't ruin a marriage. You didn't do anything wrong. There were clearly deeper issues at play in their relationship. It was a ticking time bomb and she would find anyone else but herself to blame
Lol. Something like this can't cause major issues. The major issues were already there. In Emma's marriage something was of way deeper, than two stupid comments. Emma blaming OP for the issues is not ok, even if she is hurting.
