Last weekend, I got to go home for the first time in ten years. My family celebrated my grandmother's 94 birthday. It was amazing. Replenished my soul❤❤❤
You two have helped keep me sane. It’s been a rough year as my husband fell and broke his neck and injured his spine. So my year has been helping with his rehabilitation. Still doing that. Had to cancel a trip to Scotland (husband’s home),England (mine), and Australia/New Zealand (cousins and proper holiday). So we’re hoping my husband will be healed enough to go down under next Autumn. We are going to have a week on the north Florida gulf coast at our condominium in a few weeks. Thank you for keeping me entertained.
Wow your year has been truly busy, I watch all your videos and love them, even I was getting dizzy at how busy you've been.. all your hard work is beginning to grow quickly.
We've had a busy year too. We built our own campervan in our tiny back garden, Ford Transit 250 lwb. Fixed bed, trauma heating/water, Solor, Shower/loo etc. We love it and your inspiration for travel is my go to.. I've made notes for all the places on my travel list.. hopefully now 60 I'm at last getting my dream too. Thank you guys 🥰
Thank you for asking. We’ve had a crazy year too. Got stuck in Cairngorms due to rogue pheasant. Fell in love with it. Did some filming with the BBC, sold our house in the south east, planned and organised an 80th birthday party with an ABBA tribute band, now buying a house and moving to the cairngorms after 2.5 years of travelling and living in our Motorhome. OMG….. I’m exhausted. 😂
I am so excited. I've just booked a holiday to the Maldives 10 nights at kandima and 4 nights at cinnamon Dhonveli in March next year, I can NOT wait. Love your wedding shorts, you both look amazing ❤

Sandwood Bay is so worth the walk. It was wild when I was there and got a surprise when two young German lads staged a sunbathing selfie, turns out it was a revisit for them just for that selfie 😂

Great update guys. We went to Portugal this year but in the car to a Villa but did Croatia in the Motorhome last year.
My ultimate dream is to drive to Singapore and since I've been made redundant from the beginning of November I could be unresponsible and use that money for that trip but I shouldn't really.
We're also thinking of changing the van to one with an Island bed at the back. It would work so much better for us now our kids are less likely to be coming with us in a year or two.

@@grapesodatravels not a van trip though (I wouldn’t trust myself to drive a van, let alone in the UK , me being from Canada). We went to Mull/Iona, Skye, Culloden/Clava cairn, Fort Williams, Glasgow, Edinburgh, St.Andrews, just to name a few of the wonderful places we went to!

Can't fault you for choosing Greece for your wedding. There's an island off Rhodes called Halki, it has a population of 300 and is so perfect we've been 4 times despite saying we will always holiday somewhere we've never been before 😂
We've had a smashing 2024! Malta, Mull and soon NYC!
Last Dec, we honeymooned in New Zealand. Maybe that's where you're headed...?
Our next big adventure is we're getting a campervan! Looking forward to seeing you at the NEC Birmingham soon as we decide which van to buy! Narrowed it down to 4... ish...! N&Nx

We are retired, living in spain and looking for the next adventure even though I am an ambulatory wheelchair user. We are toying with the idea of a motor home. They are SOOO expensive. But my husband loves a project and is a capable handyman…..

I did my schooling in the Seychelles Islands ( big name drop!!!).....
But went back for the first time in 46 years in April.....plus ca change..
