Agree with the Chu 2 but if we’re talking budget setup, there is going to be absolutely no difference between the Moondrop DAC and the Apple/Samsung Dongle or any phone or laptop with a decent DAC.
does the amp do more than make it capable of going louder? i use it with my pc's integrated dac at 31% volume which is enough for me and i adjust it if im in a noisy area but never go more than 80, would getting a dac be completely useless for me? thanks
for me it enhanced the overall audio quality... tried it w/ all the headphones i have around and it felt noticeably "deeper" sounding, like the sound had more layers to it... but yeah it may just be my laptop's card being bad. 🤷🏽
personally, i haven't tried them... but i've heard good stuff about the aria 2, idk about the apple dongle (never tried it too, but seems nice according to reviews)... for a neutral balanced signature at around $100 I'd go for the Truthear Hexa.
Using these since launch. Still they are the best bright iem. I loved it 😍

Do you belive a sigot em6l/aria 2 with a apple dongle are a good option? or are there better setups for around the same price? 100+- bucks
