I started flipping bikes, cars, and trucks in high school. Makes amazing extra money. I started with a bike I got for 200 bucks it didn’t run but turned over. I cleaned it up and sold it for 500 same day without even getting it running. Bought another bigger bike (Honda) for 500 that didn’t start. Got it running in a few hours. Took that bike sold it for a 4x4 Honda four wheeler. Sold that 4 wheeler for 1500 bucks. Made hell of a lot in a week. Went out and bought a truck and a jeep that needed work with my profits and traded the truck for a motorcycle. Not even a summer and doing this on top of work. Definitely something to get into if you take the risk of buying something not running
technically illegal, as that is title jumping, but ya know... people fudge the rules all the time. Issue is when the original seller fills out the release of liability form on their title, they'll write down your info when selling to you. If you don't have a title when selling, the new owner will have your flipped bike, but you will be legally liable for it on DMV records.
