As a Korean, an extraordinary memory was there in 2012 ~ 2013, and it almost spent time to live in Rockhampton. Can't forget those memories that gave me a lot of things with comrades of the same age, fishing and shopping in regional places. Sometimes I visited Yeppoon beaches and looked around small towns for bait for fishing, and spent whole nights. 7:36 When the weekend came, I spent tea time in the streets with lunch and went shopping at Coles- markets.
I am Thai, I was in Rockhampton almost 30 years ago in the University. This town gave me a good time and great memories. I will visit Rocky in 2024. Cannot wait to see the town. Thank you
I'm making a move here within the next year or two! Sydneysiders keep questioning me why?! Because l want and easier, affordable and slower pace to life!
Well thanks for that, you reminded me of the great sadness that Australia has become, a land built by those who were great as reflected in the culturally rich building left which have survived to ongoing cultural war of the tastless morons who have taken the reigns since the 1940s. When i was born in Queensland long ago, it was a beautiful place of towns with soul. Now all towns have sporadic survivors of that lovely land. It is time to pull down the ticky tacky crummy boxes of tin, glass, concrete. No matter how high of how low these ticky tacky boxes are, they are a sign of death.
