I actually really enjoy playing as a crossbowman in Bannerlord. What would be really cool, is if you could do a full guide for that. Like, how to maximize effecieincy perk/equipment wise as a crossbowman.
True but this is very rare loot. Battanians fians have five the 37 stacked bodkin arrows as battle loot. The other loot I have only gotten as battle loot from the asersai. The Khans troops have given larger step arrows sometimes.
What is important with xbows - if it's reloadable on horseback it also can be reloaded on foot WHEN MOVING which is really nice. Thats why i like fine like crossbow
It really sucks that they cant be crafted, legendary crafting proc just blows all other weapons out the water, Ive made 2h swords with 300 base damage, compare to 98 on the best longbows... crafting is so OP.
I have the bound crossbow on my current Imperial playthrough, and it is awesome. People really underestimate the usefulness of the incredible range of crossbows in this game.
The best arrow so far ive found is large bag of stacked bodkin arrow,large bag of piercing arrow and balance stacked bodkin arrow. For bow the best one i found in sturgia region masterwork noble long bow.
Excellent video. I really do love the way you have made a mathematical process for ranking things in this game. As i have said before, when comparing my personal rankings against youtuber's, yours are by far the most consistant with my experience.
@@Dare_To_Gameyeah. I've found it depends on what you use ranged for. If you use it close range throwing weapons but you can't hit walltop from floor with most throwing weapons. On offensive sieges throwing weapons lose. On hideout raids bows lose. On open field battle depends on enemy comp
Bow is OP literrally can kill almost all soldiers and your army can take the few thats left giving almost 100% victory without loses this game is so beautiful hope we console players get MODS so we can break the campaign with OP content like PC players do
Yo I literally seen a crossbow at Sargot called master crafted crossbow with a missle speed of 117 it cost over a 100k I didn’t have enough to get it so I said I would come back next day I come back it’s gone & I can’t find it anywhere, wondering if anyone else seen this crossbow in the game besides me

To reload..🙄 Boy .. why not reload on Hourse with perk😀 Man..Ok u try it🤨😏 Boy.. done 😳 Man.. tell me more about this "PERK" thing.😬😦 Boy .. can't explain it in front of the players this isn't Dead Pool can't brake the fourth wall 🤐😏 Man .. 😨😠 Grrr .. 😂🤣
9:25 I think the reason is that they are planning to later add stuff like a double-crossbow and better allow modders to make firearms that are not only single-shot weapons like muskets.
@@Dare_To_Game 3 arrows vs being able to eliminate people's cranium on horse. Against low tier units you can always dismount if you want to use longbow without perk however.
I an Currently doing a horse archer run and I had the game show me a masterwork noble bow in a shop when I did not have enough Denar's I have not seen one since. I am still on the hunt for one
One of the best bows I've had are the masterworked bows. For some reason they have a little bit more stats compared to the regular bows. 1 or 2 Stat boost also tends to be the deciding factor in a fight.
@@DIEGhostfish A crossbow takes so long to reload that I can raise the ladders, climb the ramparts, capture the Vlandian horde defending the castle, and the guy still won't be finished loading his crossbow.

1:52 I think you may have overlooked the Large Bag of Stacked Bodkin Arrows (37) and the Large Bag of Piercing Arrows (28).

I am not overlooking them. Those are quality modifiers. I just rank the base material weapons and armor, since modifiers add too much variability.

That's a great point. Being able to reload when mobile is a big deal.
Great analysis of the best weapons in the game. Whenever someone gets into the Sword vs Mace debate, i always just checkmate them with Bows.

Yeah, this is the case for me as well. Even when i specifically do everything right to maximize crossbow efficiency, i still prefer bows.
Noble longbow is head and shoulders better that 15 extra points of damage mean so much

Once you get the ballista perk throwing axes become worthless since you nuke shields with javs
Javelins + Ballista perk = Excellent. Only issue is ammo capacity. And range i guess.

I love the Noble Bow on Horseback, but on foot, the Noble long bow is the absolute OG.
This is true. I know there is a perk that allows for the use of any bow on horseback, but i really like having extra arrows in my quiver.

Can be good in siege defense. Load in cover shoot and hide again
