Great cover. I'm glad you didn't attribute the original to Nat King Cole like most people do, but, just for the record, Chaplin wrote that great melody in 1936 for his film _Modern Times._ John Turner and Geoffrey Parsons wrote the lyrics in 1954 which Nat King Cole then covered in that same year.
If you listen to the modern times soundtrack it's hard to pick up the melody of smile in it. Chaplin could only crudely punch out a melody with his 2 fingers. It was 20 years later the melody and lyrics were refined in the Nat King Cole song.

Nat King Cole make a masterful performance but yes, this is indeed Charlie Chaplin who are the composer.
