this is the best and worst keyboard i ever had. They are good, but in less then 2 years they started to double type. I opened, cleaned, several times and still it comes back. i would not recommend to anyone this keyboar and i ll never ever buy homer G again
I love the keyboard too. Feels good tto use and those G keys are great, butt as you can see mine has the dooble letteer problem too. This is my second oone to go faultty.
I will never buy LOGITECH again. I used to be a fan, but the fact this keyboard is still in the market is a great reason to not trust this brand again.
logitech G613 is the biggest scrap I've ever bought... Cleaning does nothing. I unscrewed it, the problem did not go away. The next junk is G604. Peeling rubber and a faulty roller, not to mention the laser. No more LOGITECH
Also got his keyboard in DE layout snd was really taken by it. After some time it started double tapping. Thought this was just an issue for this particualr unit and since i wanted UK layout anyway i got a new one which also started exhibiting the same behaviour. Sadly this keyboard is just not maintainable if you need to keep replacing the switches.
Use a trigger spray bottle, that's what I did on my G910 Orion Spectrum with the same issue. Pull the keys then flood it with iso using the trigger spray bottle then wipe clean allow to dry. The isopropyl alcohol won't take long to evaporate. Reinsert the keys and done.
Important info. In most cases, double-clicking is treated by replacing the batteries. It seems that 2 years were calculated for batteries with 1.65 V, but we don’t have such for sale, only 1.5 V, they last for a year or a year and a half.
For the amount I spent on this keyboard, I expected it to last longer. After a year of regular use, I have the same issue. So frustrated with this keyboard!
Unfotunatly this is only a temp fix, I did this with both alcohol and contact cleaner but after a couple of weeks the issues come back. I love this keyboard but the chattering is a real issue
Idk if its late, i got used 613. Had same issue of chatter/ double click in multiple keys which got fixed. I did brush clean as keyboard was way too dirty. Then did vaccume clean which help easy the key press. I decided to air dust can clean to see if it fixes double click but nope. Still it recommended to do generously air can clean it as it has removes all minute particles which would cause chatter. Then i tried isopropyl cleaning which fixed the issue. Put 2-3 drop inside and 2 drops around. Give 3-5 seconds to let it clean and do it's thing. Air dust it 2-3 times with short press to dry it completely. See it works. This will change feel of press as it'll dry any available lube. You can lube keys again to get the smooth back. Lastly, put new batteries as some fixes as batteries too impacts it sometime. Hope it helps.

So cleaning it lasted about 3 months. before the issue started to come back. so i can either clean it again or swap the switches like in my other video those switches are still ok. I'm currently trying to figure out how to get cherry switches to be compatible with the board
@@InfinityMindDIY I got the double key press when i changed the original batteries the keyboard came with, with rechargeable batteries. The double key press went away when i switched batteries over to regular aa duracell. I think the g613 just kinda doesn't agree with rechargeable batteries. This is obviously only one observation but I wonder if anyone else has noticed this! edit: i just looked a bit more into this. my rechargeable batteries were 2800mah 1.2v. The duracell were 1.5v. So I wonder if the logitech peripherals just require 1.5v.

Replacing with new 1,5volt(1,6 when new) and tried using a problematic key with enter in between and the issue is gone. Will do some more testing but you might have cracked it. I hope...
@@omarlyttle I had the same problem when I replaced mine with 1.2v rechargeable batteries. Problem went away when I used standard 1.5v batteries. So it looks like you're correct. The keyboard has an issue with batteries lower than 1.5v. I don't have 1.5v rechargeable batteries so I can't test to see if it has problems with rechargeables in general. Guess my next pack of rechargeable batteries will be 1.5v. Thanks for testing this! You saved me $$$!

I thought my keyboard is also defect... but then i've noticed something very strage... why is this only happen with the dongle on my *new gaming rig. Connecting the dongle to any other computer or even to my android phone (with adapter not via not BT) I don't have that issue. The only thing so far is that it's something in combination with my new gaming rig. Maybe the USB pulling time is higher and they now are "noticed"? no idea... Mainboard: Gigabyte X670 AORUS ELITE AX AMD X670 OS is completely in depended. Tried Debian and Ubuntu on same hardware with same issue. Righ now I am using it via BT with absolutley no issues of double inputs...
If your in Mainland Uk then Amazon was when i last looked, but they wouldn't ship to Northern Ireland when i needed it there and so I used eBay to get it to NI

My g613 at work was doing weird typing. The one at home, never. Took the one from home to work and it started to do the same thing.

I had a keyboard that did the same, battery replacement didn't help.

Yeap, agreed replacing the switch like in part 1 works for a lot longer. But Ill change them for cherry switches at some point

Exact same issue for me. I have 2 x G613 keyboards and both were double typing letters with USB. Changing to Bluetooth fixed issue.
