Must know before going on a Mission Trip! Packing, passports, and more things you need to know

  • Congrats for choosing to go on a short term mission trip! Here are some helpful items to bring
    In backpack:
    Passport (or ID if staying in country)
    Credit/bank cards, and Cash
    Medicines, including motion-sickness
    Cell phone and charger
    Empty water bottle
    Small packaged snacks
    In suitcase:
    Bible and written Testimony
    Sunscreen, bug spray, hand sanitizer, wipes
    Personal hygiene items
    Hat & sunglasses
    T-shirts for ministry days + 2 extra
    Under garments including PJ’s and socks
    Shorts/pants
    Church outfit
    Tennis shoes, flip flops
    Modest swim suit & towel
    Ministry stuff (sports equip, items to hand out, gifts, etc)

    I became saved in 2020, during the situation. I found out you can go to church online; I don't have a church in walking distance.

    In Spanish class, I would go to Google, and ask what the Spanish word means in English. Spanish is so hard; I like French a lot better. I've always wanted to serve a mission. Maybe I could do something in my neighborhood. (I'm 43). You don't need to go to Google translate, you can just type in "what does Gracias mean in English" for example.
