In part one of our Honda CB350 , CB360, CB450 steering bearing upgrade we tear into the bike and show you how to take apart the all the pieces from the triple tree assembly. This includes the removal of the upper triple tree and lower triple tree as well as the factory style ball bearings with their respective races. We have to get the steering stem and tube taken down to the bare components so that we can install the tapered roller steering bearings on this Honda CB360.
A quick note, use the thinner of the large shim washers that come in the tapered roller steering kit on the lower triple tree before installing the dust seal and the bearing.

Great video. Thank you. I am rebuidling the triple tree and only could afford to clean the old bearings and cases. I was hoping to find a video on how to put greass on them and put the back together without having all the bearings fall or roll around. I'm thnking with enough grease they'll hold in place on the case long enough to be put back in place. Lets. hope.

Looking to do an inverted fork front end swap on my bike which has ball bearings so I’ll see if the races for whatever front end I get will fit will be better than trying to modify the frame
