Not even the quickshot let's you finish them (as shown in this video) Those enemies are more common once you start advancing the plot and the tier of the gigs you get. You can unlock the required skills to quickshot them, and in the case of stealth takedowns, shock them with a prodding tool, but it's still a bit daunting on certain ocasions.

TBH the scene in the mandalorian is just bad millenial writting that "needs" self reference it's own material as a work of fiction that only exist in our reality. Stormtrooper can shoot. But not at main characters that still need to do their part in the story. Makes as much sense to have character tell you: "Oh don't worry ST are just innacurate when the camera is filming because their stressed out about it^^" Or the truth is that the eye socket on the helmet does not match human physiology. But should we all acknowledge that and make it cannon too?
There's a skill upgrade that let's you knock out stronger enemies (like gamorrean guards or droids), with a taser like thing. That should be used against the armored enemies too. Just have that thing baseline and say the upgrade charges it up against tough guards. Or how about no knockouts against armored enemies ever? Now that's a challenge.

If Jedi Survivor lets us slice through stormtroopers with a lightsaber, it’s hard to see why Ubisoft couldn’t give Kay proper knife kill animations instead of just punches. For a game centered around outlaws, it looks disappointingly tame.
Star Wars is a PG to PG-13 franchise. Knife kills is an R rated kind of thing. AC and Far Cry are both M rated. I am sure Disney gave Ubisoft parameters for the acceptable levels of violence.

You can shoot from the vehicle by pressing the Left/Right sticks 1:45 - Shown on the bottom right of the screen. It brings up the dead-eye-like target shooting. It's pretty fun.
Sorry I meant I wish you could manually aim and shoot. I know you can do the quickdraw ability but I wanna pull out my gun and be able to aim at targets like in other open world games like this
The fact you can't aim your weapon whilst being in a vehicle is true brain-rot game design. Even Far-Cry 1 has vehicle mounted weapons that you can use whilst driving, in Far Cry 4 you can toss all explosives types out of a freaking makeshift helicopter whilst in the middle of a random gunfight, but you can't even aim a weapon whilst driving in a modern AAA Ubisoft game😂

My biggest complaint now is not being able to run down enemies on foot with my speeder. Speeder combat should be the next big fix. Carrying rifles is not completely fixed - Kay still throws them away when engaging in conversations with NPCs and when entering settlements on her speeder.
They need to add a new animation where she uses a taser device in an exposed region like the neck on enemies with armor/helmets for the stealth take-downs over punching. And not even have an option to take-down higher tier enemies stealthily, combat should just be entirely avoided or have some environmental factor be the only option/or distractions. AI needs major tweaks for higher difficulty/death-troopers to use cover and flank and rush you only when they have the numbers to do so. and cones of vision needs to greatly improved ffs.
Haha, you need "The Better" ability from "The Gunslinger", then you can double tag the stronger enemies to take them down using Adrenaline Rush. This pairs well with "Adrenaline Rush Mastery" from the same expert, adding another two targets. This means that you can take down six regular enemies or three stronger ones e.g. Death Troopers.
I waited to buy this game until the big update, and honestly it’s still not updated enough. It crashed on me about five times in three hours. Two crashes were just because I used photo mode. That’s pretty sad. The other 3 were simply for fun I guess. Anyway. I’m not playing this game and expecting anything approaching the quality of a Horizon game or Red Dead Redemption 2, but this is still falling far short of my tempered expectations. It’s not even close to the graphical quality that it should be considering where we are with modern games, and it’s just got a ton of janky stuff. Needs to bake longer. I’ll try it again in about 2-3 months.

For those complaining about the NPCs in this game, FFVII has terrible NPC detail and lip sync issues but that game is praised to the high heavens. You also can't create a custom character in that game either but somehow, this game which looks great is being ridiculed for not having the character creator option. I'm glad that Ubisoft is taking feedback that is constructive and not just listening to anyone who says something negative because a lot of the criticism that has been levelled at this game is not objective.

There’s 9 different options for the pistol that she has can convert it between semi auto blaster auto and heavy pistol which is the main firing option. Overall I think it’s lame u can’t carry a main weapon but it’s kinda cool
I am fed up of stormtroopers having paper armor. The "punching helmet" thing really annoys me to be honest. How hard was it to implement decent animation for the takedowns to make them more believable. But then again, they got taken down by teddy bears with primitive weapons. So I am guessing that makes the whole thing 'lore friendly'.
This game grew on me but I had to look up so many tutorials and tips because the game doesn’t explain anything. I like that she says karabast 😂 Zeb reference? I think this game would have been a lot more popular if the studio just gave these incels a choice of character or just made a big sexy boy for them to play as.
Yeah, it looks like it plays better from what I’ve seen, now all they’d have to do is make the character model look more like Humberly González and make the story interesting. I mean just looking at Riders Republic seems less exciting and challenging than actually playing it, wouldn't you agree? On release many people got upset about the normal difficulty of Outlaws especially due to the unforgiving stealth sections, which got ridiculously nerfed and with the latest patch is now mostly optional. But still, everyone can change the difficulty to their likening, we don't get forced through normal to unlock higher difficulties. I liked the open world genre mix variety of Outlaws. Is it a GOTY? No, it's a undeniable flawed but still a very charming game, which might find its audience on the long run. Especially when it's cheaper and people don't get hung up on details or on Ubisoft price/dlc policy.
The Ewoks used weapons and they still had a hard time until Chewbacca took control of the AT-ST and started to open fire. No one in the movies, other than Chewie was shown busting up stormtroopers with their bare hands.

I think the rage over the helmet punching is funny. For decades any "green herb," food or syringe instantly heals you and it never "ruined" any game ever for anyone, but (Disney and Star Wars) inserts this mechanic and it's one of the worst games of the year as a result. Gamers (nerds) are weird.

For those complaining about the NPCs in this game, FFVII has terrible NPC detail and lip sync issues but that game is praised to the high heavens. You also can't create a custom character in that game either but somehow, this game which looks great is being ridiculed for not having the character creator option.
I'm glad that Ubisoft is taking feedback that is constructive and not just listening to anyone who says something negative because a lot of the criticism that has been levelled at this game is not objective.
FF is not a stealth game dude.. This Star Wars is an action and stealth game, but the NPCs are terrible in terms of reacting and movement..
The ai detection during stealth looks horrible. They literally never see you.

Agreed. Thats why i couldn't play battlefront 2. O tried to but melee-ing a droid and with to hits is soo unrealistic. This is why fans of starwars need to make these games

By far I prefer the 'taser' than the punch animation for takedowns
I play on a higher difficulty because i thought the game looked easy. I am like 3 shots dead all the time and stormtroopers are so accurate. It makes the game souch better

There’s 9 different options for the pistol that she has can convert it between semi auto blaster auto and heavy pistol which is the main firing option. Overall I think it’s lame u can’t carry a main weapon but it’s kinda cool

I am fed up of stormtroopers having paper armor.
The "punching helmet" thing really annoys me to be honest.
How hard was it to implement decent animation for the takedowns to make them more believable.
But then again, they got taken down by teddy bears with primitive weapons.
So I am guessing that makes the whole thing 'lore friendly'.
I was planning on buying this with the Steam sale, but it's still over $50 and I'm not sure the state of the game is worth that at this point.
This game grew on me but I had to look up so many tutorials and tips because the game doesn’t explain anything. I like that she says karabast 😂 Zeb reference? I think this game would have been a lot more popular if the studio just gave these incels a choice of character or just made a big sexy boy for them to play as.

Yeah, it looks like it plays better from what I’ve seen, now all they’d have to do is make the character model look more like Humberly González and make the story interesting. I’m not impressed with clips I’ve seen with cutscenes and dialogue. If you guys enjoy it that’s fine, I think I’ll still wait for a deep discount.

What's the problem of Stormtroopers get so easily knocked out here? Has anyone even seen Return of the Jedi? A couple of Ewoks beat down a full platoon with sticks and stones. :D

Most people want their gameplay to actually be EXCITING AND SOMEWHAT CHALLENGING. Like yeah cool, the storm troopers in the movies are dumb as hell and are just fillers for the audience and for luke to kill easily to show hes awesome because hes the main charater in a huge movie franchise..but that's not how people want to play a game, to make all enemy npc's in this game just extremely easy and boring to take down, where's the fun in that? "oH bUt tHeYrE dUmb iN thE moViES" is supposed to justify Ubisoft's lack of ability? lol please, just make enemies fun and challenging to take down so that the game is actually fun and challenging...Nah but you'd rather brain rot enemies to justify your brain rot excuse for thus brain rot game lol
@@yesdude3914 Sure, but everything is less exciting and challenging when you just look at it. I mean just looking at Riders Republic seems less exciting and challenging than actually playing it, wouldn't you agree? On release many people got upset about the normal difficulty of Outlaws especially due to the unforgiving stealth sections, which got ridiculously nerfed and with the latest patch is now mostly optional. But still, everyone can change the difficulty to their likening, we don't get forced through normal to unlock higher difficulties.
I liked the open world genre mix variety of Outlaws. Is it a GOTY? No, it's a undeniable flawed but still a very charming game, which might find its audience on the long run. Especially when it's cheaper and people don't get hung up on details or on Ubisoft price/dlc policy.

The Ewoks used weapons and they still had a hard time until Chewbacca took control of the AT-ST and started to open fire. No one in the movies, other than Chewie was shown busting up stormtroopers with their bare hands.

They gave me this game for free with Nvidia purchase, still uninstalled after few hours, i think my tipping point was the no map situation on speeder
