Loved the setup man! Being that I'm primarily shoot real estate and portraits, I have a 5d4, a 16-35 f4 is l series, and i keep a sigma 35mm 1.4 with me as well. everything else in my bag currently is gorilla pod, rode mic, and a mavic pro and remote, and can fit my laptop. really want that 16-35 2.8 iii though! the f4 isn't the best for low light and don get any depth really

I really like minimalism. Especially if you want to challenge yourself, just don`t take all your lenses with you. Just take your favorite lens and try to get new ideas to shoot instead of always switching lenses. In my opinion thats a good training.

That very Samsung HD Failed on me. Went to 3 labs around the country and no one could recover it. So traditional HD’s only for me from here on out. Great video though! Love your kit.

all the RF lenses are gorgeous! but they're just so friggin expensive! it's like they've left us behind... I really really want the 85 mm 1.2. But $2700? I know the quality of the pics are amazing but I'm going to have to live with my EF 85 mm 1.4 until I flesh out my lens lineup. I will be picking up the RF 70-200. And I do want a 35mm prime. and a macro.

It'll do well at editing. MSI make brilliant laptops, can recommend Razer's laptops as well! Razer released their RTX lineup a while ago so the GTX lineup has gone down in price and they're brilliant :)
His editor is the one that uses it the most.

dude.. that's a $4000 camera and you think that people will just go and pick those up for their vlogging channels? Most of us have under 10K subs and might make $150-$200/month . We can't afford that kind of rig. Plus a $1300 lens? I vlog on a gopro hero7

I won't say that its bad! 1080 is great. But I would shoot 4k stuff if u can and downscale it for better editing the colors etc. but I asked because I wanna get a MC pro for travel editing but im not so sure about it@@northburngardens

Marco Carpinella, I'm deciding on which mic to buy for my camera, and I have watched comparisons of Rode Videomic Pro and Pro Plus. Have you used the non-Pro version? P.S. What are your thoughts on the Plus version?
@@excitedaboutlearning1639 I never tried the old version but for me the Pro Plus is worth all single cents.
If you want to buy a cheaper one you could take the Videomicro which is the best in terms of price/value, the other in between are not worth in my opinion.
If you want a mic you will never regret and probably never change until you'll brake it, take 250 € and buy the Videomic Pro Plus.

Yeah, I have the Sony a7R3 but I won’t lie the amount of fixing I have to do on skin tones... and then seeing some comparisons of video detail has made me question it. I’d be using it for concert and travel work.

Well those 2 contradict each other
Hard drive is a physical disk that spins, SSD is a solid state drive that doesn't have moving parts (macroscopic level). Both do the same thing but in different ways. The best upgrade for a computer would be to swap the Hard Drive for an SSD

Minimalist? You are kidding, right? Minimalist is a PIXI EVO tripod, an action camera on top and as an EXTRA, a mini recorder like DR-10L if you want better audio. That is minimalist, not half kilo of camera and half kilo lens plus 1 million other things :)

Minimalist!! Certainly not on cost! That backback with a GorillaPod on the side looks JUST like a camera bag. I use a manbag (messenger bag) which just fits my Panasonic G80 with kit lens and one other, plus a table top tripod (Manfrotto Pixi)

Please tell me you don't consider that lense a minimalist item...it is huge! Carrying that around would be super tiring and draw a ton of attention to you when you're blogging. My minimalist camera is a Sony rx100 Mark IV.

Its an SSD, not an SSD HDD. HDD means its got a spinning disk in it. This is based on pure flash storage.

TOTALLY hear you on the ND Filter "Hole" - we have the same setup for our vlogging rig but opted to pick up a clear filter ($129!!!!) and have it handy to swap out. But I like the gaff tape approach.... 🤔
Pretty the similar setup with EOS R w/ 17-40 f4 (yes, the cheeper one) and Rode VideoMic (not Pro, yes, the cheeper one), the same goriila pod and GoPro Hero3+ (yeeeah, the previous century one)
