Now that GT ONE is return GT7 glory time for nostalgic ride on! Does everyone miss Red Rock Valley that course sure is killer miss that track hopefully in future GT8 or update will bring back.
And yes GT5 & 6 gameplay using Steering except GT7 are controller.

One of the most iconic cars in the entire franchise! So glad it's back!
Maki Nishikino when driving her favourite car in Gran Turismo 7:

This car was so hard to get in GT2 unless you are very patient. A quarter century later this car is back with its interior detailed. How time flies.
On Gran Turismo 2, players has to get all gold medals in Super License! Remember that PS1 Gran Turismo games always test player's precision on license test to the extreme since you cant restart license tests AT ALL.

GT2, GT3, GT4, and GTPSP engine sound is the most nostalgic.

Early Gran Turismos always made me think this car had a v12 engine from the sound when I was young haha.
I just saw the sunshine through the trees in deep forest, good memories....

Edit: i also loved how this car has a function: it is gr2. So this group has more cars now
The gr2 of gt7 really means nothing. In the same category you have dtm cars, this, the clk and differen super gt/all japan gt categories for no real reason
@@pequod6660 yes, i agree this class needs to be reworked or removed but they don’t seem to do this. Thats why im happy for the new car
@@pequod6660 so the new class 1 dtm use the same rule as the super gt, so in the same group. They also add with the adding of some older gt500 cuz they are the similar thing as the new one. And Those lemans GT1 from the late 90's are using similar ways to build car, which is using a spec chassis with the outlook or some normal car. So this is why they are in the same group
No premium model until GT7.
Pretty awesome the models are future proofed.. very wise move.
Like, the textures, sounds and reflections will aways be improved but the polygon model will probably never need touching.
Every car they model is done and will only need tweaks to make them perfect.

What a selection there was
For GT2, 3 and 4 it had a generic computerized engine sound but then for number 5 and 6 it utilized a kazoo, dosent sound to bad in GT7

if Koenigsegg and rimac came into GT7, then its untouchable and complete
I dont think enough petrol heads care more for Koenigsegg and Rimac than Lotus for example or so many popular cars already missing in GT7.

@@fastcarfootball8710 no they dont, they dont have rights to anything especially japanese brands. obviously Nissan would rather feature in a GT game which is japanese made than the horrid game that is forza. having X car in your game does not mean owning the digital rights to blabla. you can rest asure t10 has no rights from Nissan that PD doesnt have aswell since they have partnered many times. Nissan has never partnered with t10, nothing to worry about.

Because it's in the GT1 class like the CLK and F1
It's about time it's classed properly. Everyone mistakes it for a LMP due to how effing fast it goes, but believe it or not, it was classed in GT1 for 1998 with a 600hp limit, and all the GT1s in 98 were faster than most LMPs that year.
In 99 it raced in LMGTP (a buffed GT Class after Porsche and McLaren nuked themselves because Toyo and Mercedes were just too fast) and took the fight to the pure LMP BMW V12 LMR beating it on raw pace only to lose due to a puncture.
So yeah, it has GR. 1 Speeds but just like irl it was the fastest car in a lower class.

A lot of people don't seem to realize that the GT-One raced in two different categories.
The '98 car, sure it did run in GT1. The '99 car, however, raced under LMGTP (a faster category).

Not the same. Most tress have a 3d trunk with 2d branches.. some are fully 3D. And most distant are 2D.
They made the most of it. Great optimisation if u ask me.
This car is definitely a waste on Gr2 category it should be a Gr1 so we can customise it beyond 839hp
It's in Gr.2 because it is a GT1 car like the McLaren F1 GTR long tail and CLK-GTR

@@brand007ful You do know in 98 and 99 all LMGT cars were faster than LMPs right? This car was basically the ultimate F U to all the other Manus because despite being LMGT1 and later LMGTP, it spent it's life beating the absolute Christ out of LMPs.
The BMW V12 LMR was saved by God when the GT-One's tire punctured because despite being in a lower class, it drove like it came from hell.

The gtone in gt7 is insanly detailed looks like garbage in fm just like meny other cars in that game, thats what happens when you you recycle car models from the first fm

All GT 1 cars are in GR2, why you only taking about the TS020? While also the Aston DB9 GT1 is in GR3 🤦♂️
it would not be able to compete with the Sauber or R92 xd. They were lighter than the GT-One and also had way more power. Up to 1000 vs the GT-One's 600. Grp C was indeed faster than GT1
@@Stance1988 - and this is true, but RL says otherwise. Tracks received a lot of changes (primarily to slow the cars down).
And there's also the part that the GT-One we have in the game... is part of LMGTP.

@@andreasmoller9798 I've seen this car run demos a couple of times IRL, the sound to me is way off, they'll probably fix it in the next update like they did with the Audi RS5 DTM
The cockpit sound is pretty much spot on, but the B roll drive-by sound is nowhere close. I hope they fix it.
@@andreasmoller9798 They did, look up Toyota GT-One sound and watch the good wood vid, the exhaust sound is not that muffled and raspy. It's got a clear, gutteral flat-plane roar
