      You can break up the exponent on 4⁴ as (4²)² like I did in the last example. So then we have:

      (16)²/3² =

    Great explanation! But I do have to point to a mistake at 5:36. The denominator should be (5^3)^2 and so final answer is actually 1. Please correct it. Thanks.

    • @Eat_Pi
      @Eat_Pi  9 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Hello, I'm not sure where you see the mistake exactly. You can try plugging in the original question into your calculator 25³/125 and you'll see the answer you get is 125, not 1. So I know I got the correct answer.
      The denominator is 125 which is equal to 5³. That is why I changed the denominator to 5³ 👍
      I'm not sure where you're getting (5³)^2 though.

    I have 7^7 sweets and I want to distribute them equal-
    ly among 2^4 students. After each of the student got eually how mani i am left with

    • @Eat_Pi
      @Eat_Pi  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      # of sweets per # of students
      = # of sweets/# of students
      = (7^7 sweets) / (2^4 students)
      = 823,543 / 16 = 51,471.4375
      Each student gets 51,471.4375 sweets. Assuming you can only give out sweets in whole pieces, then we have to round the answer down to the nearest whole number, which is 51,471.
      So each student gets 51,471 sweets. How many total pieces is that now?
      16 students x 51,471 sweets = 823,536. But remember, we started with 823,543.
      823,543 - 823,536 = 7
      So you would be left over with 7 pieces.
      Hope that helps! 👍

      Great question! For these types of problems u want to either match the bases or the exponents. For the first problem 9⁴÷3⁶ I tried matching the bases since 3 fits into 9 evenly. So in order to do that, I can rewrite 9 as 3², because 9=3². If I do that, the Numerator and Denominator will have same base now (which is 3).
      I hope that clears it up but let me know if u still have any questions 👍
