That ambush when Ashley is taking a bite... used to work with a girl at Red Robin who was a server. She found some fun in asking her customers how they were enjoying their meals right as they took a bite from their food. It was perversely satisfying to watch the timing of her walking up... over and over again. It was a bit of an art form. :)
Wow that's messed up. Now if a server comes to me when I take a bite, I'll just sit there and chew while staring at her or him

Nice video! That new exhaust actually sounds really good. And you make the carb tuning look easy - we worked on my carb for hours last year and never could get it right (throws some good flames though)
Well yeah I didn’t include a lot of the trial and error. The intake kit we bought came with jets that works really well. But to get the mid range just right we had to play with needle shims. Took about three revisions to get it dialed in. Probably still some room for improvement, but it runs well enough so we’re just sending it lol

Love it, I have a 2016 Honda Forza 300. With my big ol 300lb butt I can squeeze 65-ish. I'd love 5 + more so big rigs on the freeway don't wanna squash me. Do you have any resources, suggestions.. for improvements for my Honda?

Nice i tuned my 2 stroke 50cc to a 70cc with a 21mm carb... To be honest only the case is the same all the insides are new lmao. It now drives 100kmh wich ist pretty fun. Hope you guy have fun with your bikes too :)

👍👍 Nice Mods! Y'all really for real got in there and did some coolness. Color choice aye? 🤔 Metallic Burnt Orange has caught my eye lately. Seen a SUV with it....a shade or two darker....looked sharp. Or a deep Metallic Red....not quite maroon.

Could you link to exhaust, intake, and carb? I have an aftermarket variator on my met, and a removed restrictor plate, but still looking to squeeze power out to hit those speeds easier

I was kinda digging the purple of the 3D-printed prototypes. Might be a good color for the bike, or at least a trim color.

For Colors I'd go with Black and Chrome, maybe Black metallic with a hint of dark green... to give it a special shine in the sunny hours 🤘🤘

Quality is decent... already had it get a slight crack that I had to have fixed. But it’s slim Pickens when trying to find one that won’t hit the Metropolitan plastics
You made working on a CVT look easy!
Goooooooollllllddddddddd. Paint it gold.
Engine mods increase Horsepower and torque, but not top speed. Variator tuning will help, but once you have more HP and Torque, you have to move it to the wheels for more speed. Changing the final drive Gears will allow you to use that new found HP/T. Then tune the carb, tune the variator (when you find the sweet spot, use Dr. Pulley sliders instead of rollers) But the best bang for your buck is a drop in 171 kit or higher with a performance cam/head. That plus a taller final drive gear ratio = 70 - 80 mph (at least). Love your content, keep it rolling! BTW: taller gears on her machine and changing the CDI will put a big smile on her face as well...
What are the upgrades you performed to the metropolitan? Seems like an effective bolt on upgrade

I noticed your break lights are 70% covered by the number plate. I suggest mount it on the back of your seat. As the colour suggestion goes a metallic purple will do well.

Tip for bearings, get a straw (thin one for wee ones) and fill it, then just pinch the end and let them out as you want

I wish you were up this way and I would hire you to make my 2015 Metropolitan go faster; it's onlly going 32 MPH at full throttle and maybe 35 MPH going down hill full throttle. Imagine that in the state of MA the DMV made me get a motorcycle license to ride this?.. Sure .. I had no choice!

It's funny how it is like scaled down to what I'm used to. Mind you my life is scaling down too. I used to drive and wrench on crazy v8 stuff and the heaviest of heavy equipment with the smallest bike being a 600cc sport bike. These things are all f'ing insane and way over powered. In the end I came to the conclusion that new shiny overpowered shit isn't the divining line on how much you enjoy it. My last bike was a 1992 Yamaha fzr600 with enduro style lights. Some kid had spray painted it flat black. I slapped some Punisher logos on it and enjoyed it more than any other bike I ever had. I wasn't worried about pristine. I just used it and it became my favorite. I could still beat any sports car or hit a prairie road hard. I can definitely see where these little bikes could be great for city living. Get out and enjoy a city day easy style. It's more about the dividing line between getting out there or not getting out there that improves your life. That is why being able to do this with your girl is awesome and valuable. Like drones, the perfect drone compared to being able to fly or not, the division between yes or no is the greatest change in quality of life.

Go for the any chrome color, like the chrome violet 💜 gloss or not gloss.. I believe violet is a happy and positive color. Hope this help you decide.

In some states 49cc scooters are legally limited to a max speed, typically 35 mph. So basically they are souping it up to be illegal. Good luck.
