i was waiting for this video, i begun to watch ruckus build before your first ruckus video and got inspered by your ruckus build content so i'm building one right now, thanks and keep the good work!
I’m getting A Honda Metropolitan in the next two weeks. And I just watched the whole series today. I’m definitely going to be doing some mods to mine. And I love this series! You guys are awesome keep up the good work!
OMG, Ashley's Scoot just came out PERFECT... It's amazing how much of a difference a lower Wheel setup will do. Best feel-good Vlog for a while for me, not sure if it's you guys, the music, the edit, the vibe... prolly just the sum of it, so thanks for sharing !!
With a front wheel upgrade on the metropolitan I have to use a ruckus steering stem, apparantly because of the 4 inch wide tire. So I'm wondering what to do with stock handlebars since they wont fit on the ruckus stem ,and I want to use the stock handlebars. Have you had experience with this? I see you have a custom wheel. What size is it? It seems that it might be a better solution to use what kind of wheel you have, than changing the front stem. Sure would appreciate any info you may have to share on this. Also did you have to use a Ruckus Swing arm to make the rear wheel fit? Some great ideas, especially with the vinyl plastic sheets with the Met and It looks pretty decent with those wheels. Im watching tons of videos and yours shows some very good options. So Im going crazy wondering how to at least just do nice wheels like you got. What a nightmare of options.
Those bikes look AWESOME you guys. Ashley’s bike looks both clean with that bad ass custom look, kinda low rider with that muscle look. I’m not going to go into with Drew’s Rukus seeing that it’s not finished and he had to scrounge for parts. But, looking forward to the actual finished product.
I know those scoots! Haha I saw both your bikes at the Smoky Mountain Small Bore Rally this year, they looked awesome! (I was the guy in the Helix). Awesome video and subscribed! Your alls scoots made a cameo in my vid too 😁
Very nice work! Can you tell me what the size of the rims are you used for the metropolitan? I really don’t know what to look for the size i want to buy for my GY6 retro scooter.
Love the build series they are both bad ass I still can’t figure out what scooter I want I’m thinking a ruckus or a metropolitan or even a Yamaha zuma but if I got a metropolitan I would like to build it into a metruck they look so sick but Ashley’s makes me want to leave it alone. If you were gonna build another scooter what route would you go with?
Hey drew hope ya been good that’s funny you have a ruckus I just got a maddog there fun for what it is but have you seen the tiada 232cc motors man so sick oil and liquid cooled.
Greetings.! Please tell me when installing the rear wheel, did you use a mount ? Please tell me the width of the rear disc . Unfortunately , I do not know English to understand your speech in the video . I write through a translator . I am grateful in advance . Scooters look amazing !!!
@@LeDribFPV Thank you very much. That is, in addition to the hub you specified for the rear wheel, you no longer needed any additional fasteners and wheel-engine changes ? Just this hub and that 's it ? . Please tell me what width does your rear wheel have ? Thank you for your answer . I wish good luck to you and your loved ones .
Impressive how the rear wheel fits under the stock fender. Im sure you had to take the inner fender off, but well worth the benefit of a more durable wheel!
Shauns drillpress should be always used with clamps , or at least clamp something or a bolt thru the table to stop the part rotating 😅 , i enjoyed the ct-110 goating around tracks , that ruckus looks awesome for road cruising
I new I met you brother it's Lance Corporal Brandon Rice I pretty sure at the bike show we met I was talking about Operation Charlie Bravo. I seen your bike there right. You look like a guy I talked to. I was on the red 232cc 4v Liquid Cooled Swapped Honda Ruckus
FYI, WD40 is not a acutting lubricant. It is better used to displace water and protectant against corrosion. Use a cutting fluid and or just a household oil lubricant. Low speeds and high pressure for machining hardened metals. Cheers!
Dude, awesome, bounced over here after literally years... wanted to see what RR was doing (to send links to a friend that's new into FPV) and find THIS! GREAT stuff, scooters look killer. So glad I stopped by. Keep the shiny side up! P..S Ashley, love you darling, but don't ride in shorts... pretty please?! It's sexy and all... but just not worth it if you 'perhaps' slip a bit. Cheers guys, loved seeing you both and watching this. d
I'm impressed. You managed to make goofy looking scooters actually look cool as hell. Even the girl's looks awesome with it's mix of retro and modern style.
You should ballence the front wheel a little bit. Either deflate the tire and rotate it on the rim or use small lead weights. Nice work on the fender wrap!
There are these glass beads for tires that you can use to counter act the balance on motorcycle tires, they work up to a certain speed before centrifugal force takes affect.
@@syntheticmedic3140 nice idea. I didn't think of that. I've heard about it but never tried it. That's why I love when people throw ideas out there like you did! Thanks for being a part of the family of friends!

Great video! Love the builds but I can’t wait to see your true ruckus build. I will have to admit, myself being a pipefitter, why you didn’t use a piece of thick walled pipe cut down to size for your spacers.
Ruckus front forks work. I used stock ruckus forks that were shortened by JST4SHW jst4shwrucks.com For the rear you have to get pretty creative. I used the MNNTBX shock adapter and and eye to eye shock I found on amazon
@@damacknificent151 The front wheel is from JST4SHW. The back wheel is a 10 55DWT wheel that is no longer in production. Got it off eBay. Just keep searching for it, and one will pop up at some point
Love the series dude, but as a biker of 40 years can I just say Ashley will you please wear gloves! I was an Instructor for 15 years and the one thing I always drummed into my students was GLOVES!!!!! The first thing to hit the ground when you fall over is generally your hands, tarmac and skin at 30mph is not a pretty sight! I wear motorcross gloves all year round, they are light and still protect your hands! Please buy some! Plus trying to buy a Rookus in the UK is nearly impossible! Not happy lol
Hey Drib, i have a CNC mill in my garage, I'd be more than happy to make you the custom spacers... Just send me the dimensions or a model and i can make them for you. 😬👍
@@LeDribFPV As you pointed out, freeholding a metal piece that you drill into is a sure way of losing a finger :P Secondly, my job as a CNC lathe operator consists of getting holes absolutely centered. Hey Drew, what's the top speed of your Ruckus? I owned mine in NH where they had a 49cc max law (which made it kinda too slow but still fun...) Thx
