just received my CS4 today after watching all your videos debating this unit so far today I have cleared all the gunk out of the coolant reservoir and ran a dead head test 0-300 bar 23sec. Plus filled (4) 68cu 4500 tanks each 0-4300 20min each totally happy with so far thanks for all your efforts in the reviews of this unit!

Very intuitive, and informal. I ran the "dead head" test on my CS4 and it ran 0-300 bar in 28 sec. Although, it wouldn't run to 400 bar, it bounced around a little above 300 bar.

Hello Bill ... greetings from Peru. It has passed some time since our last chat. Thank you for sharing this video, it was very useful to me. I was planning to buy a CS4 or CS3 to replace my CS2. Also I want to tell you that the CS2 definitely turned out to be an excellent pump. Since I began to use the CS2 following your hints and tips, it works very well for filling up my rifle. I'll be alert to watch your next video before to take a decision. Thank you for your work!!!

Looking forward to the rest of the series on the CS4 I have a Uragan 2 fill pressure 300 bar capacity 530 cc and my CS3 will not fill this before the duty cycle times out. So I think that I need a new compressor. This one will be on my list of possibles.

    • @TargetForge

It is my understanding that the VOLUME of water does not determine the effectiveness of a good cooling system. Moving heat from point A, to point B efficiently IS what defines an effective cooling system. Also, the rate of heat input fluctuation on a system with fixed parameters does not benefit from a large thermal mass. Thank you for your comment! Hope your pellets fly true!

You were spot on with the comments for the chinglish manual and the behavior of the amazon sales man. However, your poignant frustration with him comes across as petty and is somewhat unatractive. So he did not want to hire you. Who cares... Chinese businesses seldom care about optics. If they lose one sale and can still sell 2 after, they do not care as they are still in business. Lol

I have had to rebuild my twin cylinder 4-5 times.
High rpm compressors don't like scba bottles, they do fine for 1/2 Ltr and direct fills.
I thought about a Tux to run with my current unit, but Tux sent me used parts and 1/2 my quantity of rings, lucky my payment provider covered me when they refused to respond.

Not sure I'm following what you wrote. The CS4 is not high rpm, it runs slower and cooler that the cheap Chinese rattle traps. I will be carrying rebuilt and new cylinder kits for the CS4 and CS4-I (Same pump). These fill large volume SCBA tanks with ease, no stress, no drama. Jason is an interesting bird, that much is certain, love your vote!

Bill, I'll bet the price is going to be OUTLANDISH, however!!

I suppose that perspective is relative. Is it more $? Yes, is it worth it to the purchaser? Depends. Much will be revealed! Lol.

CS4 looks like grade A Chinesium!
I hope my off brand blue compressor stops working some day so I can get a unit sold from Umarex. At least that way I can go after someone if I experience a catastrophic failure. 300 bar is no joke.
Unfortunately or probably fortunately, that cheap compressor still works with the only the issue I have is the motor oil gasket not being oil tight. Too bad a Hill is so expensive and it is a UK / Non EU company.

LOL! Best of luck to you. th-cam.com/video/69OHLIKYJb8/w-d-xo.htmlsi=USRgi4mzur2fj_P8 Vevor is simply a brand that buys the cheapest stuff they can find in China and fleeces folks for their money. The reputation they have fostered speaks for itself.

    Not an engineer, but...
I seem to recall testing of various coolant/anti-freeze solutions that showed zero improvement in heat carrying/dissipation capacity of all of the various miracle concoctions. What they do provide is freeze protection, but if you're anything like me, all of my liquid cooled gear is kept in a conditioned space where freezing is never an issue. What that all means is that ya aren't gonna do much better than plain water as a cooling liquid in these systems. Now as to what defines plain water, that's a whole 'nuther room, but the issues worth consideration (imnsho) are pH & mineral/salt content. Pure H2O is actually dielectric by itself, it's the various salts and other chemicals typically found in say, tap water, that make it conductive. Just something to keep 8n mind when you're introducing water into an environment filled with a bunch of electrical components. Those salts/minerals work to buffer pH and keep it from bouncing or drifting as maybe CO2 is absorbed (which will decrease pH making it acidic). Pure H2O has a pH of 7.0, which is neutral on the pH scale. Unfortunately, trying to keep it neutral can be a challenge since things like atmospheric CO2 (especially under pressure) and iron will cause the formation of acids (like carbonic) which will in turn cause the pH to drift into the acidic range. I only mention this as a consideration for flushing systems routinely and replacing w/ pure H2O to keep that pH closer to neutral.
    Love the channel.

Actually Antifreeze reduces the capacity of water to move heat.

Would water wetter help if added to Glycol antifreeze?

    • @TargetForge
      @TargetForge  10 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

The manufacturer of these products claim that it will offer some improvement. Not nearly what plain water and the surfactant offer though.

It would be interesting to see the outcome of a test using Wetter with Glycol Antifreeze.

If the price was fifty percent less I would be very interested due to the low noise level while working. In my opinion it seems to be overpriced when compared to the $420 dollar Tuxing TXED011 dual cylinder compressor. I do understand the comparison is apples and oranges.
