Hi Johnathan, thanks for explaining this. I recently got a used unit that's been sitting in storage for a while and is very dirty even the outlet end is quite dusty from standing. It's been run in a coastal environment. The opposing plates are rusty and stuck to the HEPA filter on first open. So pulled the Hepa filter from Unit 2 when I removed Unit 1. Getting a quote on replacing opposing plates. Do you how often the catalyst filter should be replaced? This one on this unit is very dusty but otherwise still in tact.
All in all I'm very pleased with how robust these air filters are.

Hi. The presenter did an excellent job in explaining in detail without being draggy and being very clear. However, the person taking the video, could have done a better job in showing a closer look at the parts. For example, in the beginning, when the presenter was saying how to remove the cover, the videographer could have showed where that is. And there were many times when the product is not shown in totality. Cheers.

Sorry we don't know the exact date it was launched, but its a product we have been selling since approx. 2015.
It has now been superseded and there is a new model available in the Daikin Air Purifier Range. The MC30YPVM, MC40YPVM and MCK45YPVM models are the latest range.

Hi Prashanth. No this model does not have a HEPA filter. The new model of Daikin Air Purifiers do have a HEPA. The models including a HEPA are listed below:
MCK55YPVM (with humidifier)

MC40YPVM
MC30YPVM
