I bought the same two things for my DS to fit 14’s and low pros. I did the 1” block first though because it didn’t require modification. They fit fine, so I still have the wheel base extension kit in my spare parts pile
Love the look of your cart!! I put on a ECOTRIC 6" Double A-Arm Golf Cart Lift Kit on my 1988 Club Car DS. I have 23x10-14" tires that are 22" tall. I want to lower it down as much as possible. Any suggestions on how I can do that. Thanks!
I’m redoing my 1980 Caroche and using a set of 215/50-12’s they are 18.5 inches tall versus the stock 17.9”. Should look much better. It’s only 36V so I don’t want to kill the speed going uphill. What is the size of the wheels and tires you are taking off as well as the overall diameter? Looks great, now you just need to move the wheels out to match the rear width.
Did you install longer or better shocks in the rear? I installed the heavy duty leaf spring and the ride is extremely bouncy for the rear riders. I still have the stock tires on my 1999 Club DS and didn't upgrade as of yet.
Ok cool at least you gained something and the wheels still looks marvelous on the cart without having to lift it up in the air another well done job brother

Craig my 2014 club car precedent stopped moving on me yesterday? It runs but it won’t move. The drive belt appears good but the drive clutch and front clutch don’t appear to move but just a small amount? Not picking up torque, any ideas why? Thanks
First of all, I am not a mechanic nor do I have an inkling about anything golf cart, a statement I am about to prove with my question. I was watching you modify the front end, which meant you had to modify the upper control arm because of your two inch forward extension plate. You had to cut off the shock mounting bolt, then drill a hole to Mount the mount sent with the kit. The question I have is could the same result have been achieved by either turning the upper control arm over or by switching sides for the control arms…just a thought, might have been a quicker, more simple, less time consuming modification…just a thought. Wheels and tires makes it look 100% better. Probably could a little larger wheel and tire with that setup. ✌🏻

Those look like Evolution wheels that came on the cart from OEM.

have you ever used any dual action rear leaf springs?
Do you think there is enough room for 205/40r14s?? With just the extension kit?

Not at all. The rear springs do not allow it and the front is push out enough not to. The ride is a tad harder but it’s still a golf cart.

The thickness of that aluminum bracket probably gave it close to a 1” lift too, didn’t it?
If you look closely the spring actually fits about flush with the plate. It’s recessed for the spring.
