I love to watch this as more of the ECONOMIC developments in Cameroon, especially this roads linking Cameroon and it' s neighboring countries is what every one craved for, for many years. I'm really happy about this development and thank all the parties involved.
Nigeria and Cameroon must stop the animosity between them and put African interest first. They should improve trade between them. Cameroon is the gateway to Central and Est Africa from Nigeria just as Nigeria is the gateway into west Africa for Cameroon. Everything should be done to improve trade between west, central and East Africa.
This is the kind of project everyone will dream of. I enjoy the fact that it has improve the lifestyle of the population living along the corridor. Thanks to the innitiators, but more still have to be done. There are still so many villages in Cameroon that has never receive a bycicle visit because of lack of roads. But from what we are seeing now, there is more improvement the way the government is managing things.
This is a key section of the trans-African highway. I am glad AfDB and Nigeria/Cameroon have finally fixed this vital road on the economic corridor connecting West Africa to Central Africa. Trade between Nigeria and Cameroon is important in reducing and elimination of poverty in Africa.

It would be a giant effort and consideration if the Cameroonian Gov't could allow private campanies to operate and manage road networks in the Country. The Cameroonian gov't does not care about roads because most of the big guns only think about their stomarch.
Hugely impactful. The early years of my history involves gory tales down that road. It is a relief that the nightmare is over. And the testimony from individuals whose lives have been changed by the AfDB effort on that road, is a feel good tonic.
African presidents are very wicked, the king of Cameroon allias Paul Mvondo Biya has big mansions all over europe but he can't build good schools for this people in Bamenda.. What a shame..
The problem with Africa is that we have leaders and rulers who would rather rule a nation of no one as president than a nation of everyone as a senator
They should concession the road out to a reputable construction company with capacity to maintain the road in pristine condition all year round and collect toll. So that it never breaks down to the appalling state it had been.

The severe tropical weather, searing heat plus heavy rainfall can damage our roads,Going by Nigerians track record of maintainance before you know this route will be riddled with potholes and gullies, bad/insufficient drainage, overweight vehicles, that my friend is how(what) I mean... Ok

We speak our native languages but English is our unifying Language. So, in our metropolises, everyone speaks English, or our own vernacular called Pidgin English. But in the rural areas, most speak the language local to that part, although virtually all can speak English as well.

This is a road that is supposed to be a dual carriage road but the govt won't do it cos it's in the East .
Most inter-country roads don't have dual carriageway, it's exorbitant, time wasting. mind you this project was funded by AFDB and not Nigerian govt.
the Cameroon government does not allowed enterprise owned expressway,,,,,,but thing do change, hope this help.

Too bad all these businesses are closed now because of the conflict between the French and English
yeah it sucks! Honestly it woulda been nice to be able to drive from Bamenda all the way to Enugu, i hope to do that one day.
For now but that's it! After a few rainy seasons it will be back to square one!
