You could always head down here to Dallas, TX. For the "baddest small tire in America" race at Yello Belly in Grand Prairie. It's the craziest track you will ever go to, all the baddest no prep small tire guys will be there. And for personal reasons since I am modeling my setup after yours in a way just with an all cast bottom end, old school 350 with the ON3 107mm turbo. 🤷‍♂️

That race is definitely on the radar, would love to go to Yello Belly. Good luck with the build!

I am literally having the exact same problems with my 370 right now lol. Had a set of saved 706 cnc ported heads lifted them. Changed to a better arp stud with prc 220 heads lifted them. Were getting away from the ls9 heads gasket and going to a cosmic mlx or a athena head gasket and possibly changing fuels.

Looked on the site didn’t see a part number for the pushrods. Are you still using the 11/32 BTR pushrods? What’s the wall thickness .080?

May I ask about how much power did it make. If you are keeping it secret I understand.

I don't know what camshaft you're running but you could run a camshaft with a lot of overlap to bleed a little bit of that compression off. Straight line performance has a LS with 13:1 compression he runs 25psi his cranking compression is 190psi or so.

So it's a good idea to retorque the heads after a heat cycle or 2 or if you lift a head? Haven't really heard of a lot of LS guys retorqing, just the SBC guys.
