    16:09 no issues with lights that look like those. But I'm not like most people, I have a different outlook on things. Maybe that's because I'm 50 w/3 almost grown kids and have had to tune out the backseat noise so I could focus on the road ahead. I look at it as people enjoying their RV and camping. The only time dogs offend me is when they crap on my campsite. Barking dogs can be annoying but I don't let it ruin my camping trip. Life is too short, enjoy it more. :)

    The nose cap lights and other exterior accent lights? Yeah, when quiet hours start, those should be turned off. They look cool, but they disturb many, including my wife, when they shine throughout the night.

    I'm glad you mentioned slide out weight. I've been thinking about redoing our slide out. Got to remember weight. As far as dog barking goes, we don't really hear other dogs inside of our camper and our dogs don't bark unless someone comes near our camper. Internet is actually nice at some campgrounds. However, we are not in a place right now with a nice service. I was warned about something though. The internet that parks offer is not secure. I never thought about that before. I'm going to be getting my own. Love your videos.

    We have camped for the last 50 years. Started out in a basic pop-up. Graduated to travel trailer, motorhome and 5th wheel. Our favourite was a 45’ diesel pusher. We never full timed. We are now at the stage of life where we have a seasonal lot with a park model trailer. Enjoying this stage of life without hooking up trailer and setting up every time you go camping. Way easier at this time in our life.

    Just took the grandkids camping three weeks ago and was assigned a site directly across from a fifth wheel that had those LED nose lights. They were as bright as the headlights on his pick up and shined all day and all night long directly into the bedroom window. It was a real treat. I wrestled with the idea of saying something to them, but ended up keeping my complaints to myself. It was extremely irritating

      If someone does not understand they are inconsiderate, then a quick word might help. We also applied limo tint to our RVs bedroom windows and we don't worry about lights anymore.

    My husband and I camped a couple years after we married. Camped in a slide in truck bed camper. Very little space but we were outside most of the time. Twenty years ago we got back into camping. We bought a 22' 5 th wheel with no slides. Kept it 2 months and moved up to a 30' with one slide. Several years ago we traded up to a 35' fifth wheel. Last year we bought a 40' fifth wheel with 3 slides. Love all the space. We are seasonal and own our riverfront property where our camper stays. We kept our last camper and use it for extra family and visitors. My biggest advice is keep things simplified. You don't need as much stuff as you think you do. Pare down to the basics. Makes the space feel so much more organized!
    Our campground now has fiber internet. It seems to be working great! I enjoy your videos!!

    Our first Rv was a Fleetwood Discovery 42 M, it was a money pit bought it without an inspection. Sold it in 2021 had it 5 yrs. We are looking at fifth wheels now to go into retirement with, class A was nice but very expensive to maintain. Like the thought of dropping the Rv and using the truck and more room in the fifth wheel.

    Wow!!! Thank you so much for sharing this valuable information. I'm a new full-time RV'r and so far I feel good about my preparedness but....What's Moosh Doc for solar for an AC unit! I had solar and a mini wood-burning stove installed so I could be off-grid if needed. All the solar installers told me it would be hard to run AC on solar even though I probably won't need to often.

    There are two things I want to know. The first one is whether you can place lights under your RV in a park (I have true rodent phobia) and the second sounds like something that you would NEVER speak about on your channel but it keeps coming up for us. So many folks make known their politics on their RV or at their site. We don't do that but we are blown away at how often our neighbors begin speaking about their politics and are incredibly outspoken about theirs. We think that out politics must not match the politics of many/the majority of RV'ers. It has truly become a problem for us. We have even tried saying to others, "we don't discuss politics" but that doesn't stop folks. We are very politically active but we don't force our views on others. It is a real dilemma for us and we truly don't know how to handle it. We have tried a lot of things and it just doesn't stop. P.S. thank you for not sharing your political views.

    • @williamhudson4938
      @williamhudson4938 3 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Have you ever thought about keeping to yourself? Flat refuse to talk about politics and walk away. Might piss someone off, but no one said you had to talk to them in the first place.

    • @legalpuppy8602
      @legalpuppy8602 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@williamhudson4938 we do keep to ourselves and we don't invite any of this, obviously. I wouldn't have brought this up if it wasn't a real issue that has occurred on multiple occasions. I'm not going to be defensive about this as I was asking for true suggestions. Of course we don't engage but feel plagued by this continuous issue. We live in the south if that gives any insight. Folks here are "friendly" and feel that they can engage with anyone which is just how it is here. I try not to be a jerk and irritate folks but admit I feel a bit stymied regarding this issue. Even saying "we don't discuss politics" doesn't work.

    Have we had one campground where we could do more on their Internet connection than email or other very simple limited things? Yes, we have. On park-supplied Internet we could fully stream all TV using all 4 TVs on our coach at the same time while also downloading/uploading or video conferencing at very decent speeds and no dropouts on 2 phones, 2 tablets, and two laptops while everyone else in the park could do the same. It was incredible. Now, I have to admit, that was the only time we've been able to do so - but there is at least one park in the US that does the capability.
