When you come to India, you must experience the taste of the water from the Mother River, the Ganges River, and experience the multi-person sports culture of our locals. We are interested in white skin. Men and women, as long as you have white skin, we are all interested.
You’re right - India is so different from Western countries that it offers a deeper understanding of your own culture. It helps you distinguish between what’s cultural and what’s intrinsically human. After India, your perception of poverty, suffering, flavors, smells, pain, health, crowds, public bathrooms, indifference, traffic, noise-everything-shifts. It’s hard to explain, but I’m sure you understand 🙂.
"They" didn't tell you the whole story. "They" only spoke of the poor parts of India. Replace India with the US or Mexico or Canada and that sentiment still applies. Poverty sucks no matter where you are from. Also, the latest predictions by the IMF puts India in the 3rd richest economy by 2027. So essentially "they" would be kinda wrong here. You should be a little more openminded.

Strange that you comment about the Hindu majority while touring a Muslim area. Were you there on a Friday or Holy day? The men dressed up for mosque and the number of people begging would seem to indicate it. I found Indian people to be very friendly regardless of their religion.
Don't worry, 18 million people visit India every year and a lot of Western people live here. These one-sided videos are done to gain views. I would suggest you to watch Alisson Anderson's video on India.

It is best not to go there. The water and food there are polluted. Women are raped every day. Recently, a female doctor in India was gang-raped to death by more than 30 people in a hospital.
One thing I notice is that even though it is so hot and humid, most people do still wear long pants. Very few are wearing shorts. I read that in Iran, it’s against the law to wear shorts in public. What’s the situation in India?
Good question. In India, people are free to dress as they choose, but it seems the culture remains quite conservative and traditional, so their clothing differs from Western styles. Just think: 100 years ago, people in the West went to the beach in full suits, not swimsuits, but jackets and ties. You can even find it on TH-cam. Post-Modernity hasn’t fully reached India in that sense.
I would suggest you to watch Alisson Anderson's video on India. These are just one-sided videos. It's like going to USA and visiting Skid Row. Don't believe everything on social media.

I spent February, March and April this year touring India. Met some wonderful people but also witnessed filth, poverty, poisoned rivers, raw sewage, litter and garbage everywhere. No civic pride or sense of responsibility for the towns or countryside. 99% of auto rickshaw drivers are lying, dishonest, rip off artists. Ended up using Uber all the time (recommended). Be prepared to get food poisoning too.
Tell me this, why do the tourist always go looking for dirt when they visit India? Most tourist when they visit the US never go looking dirt - they all prefer the big cities. I agree that people there lack the civic sense. There should never be any excuse for poor civic responsibility.
@@PSUK C'mon, I wouldn't say everywhere. There are some amazing places there that are kept away from tourists on purpose. Look what happened Mt. Everest...human feces everywhere, trash everywhere.
For all people who are disturbed - This is Humanity , Co-Existense and making the most of what ever situation offers without hurting anybody most of the time ..
I live in Cambodia so visiting India would be a breeze, but I won't go for one reason. It's not the flies or the dirt or the noise or the traffic. It's how they treat women. A man can rape his wife and if she's over 12 years old, he can't be prosecuted. I don't even know where to begin with what's wrong with that.
How hard is it to setup a business in india? Like a restaurant serving western style food with actual healthcode being followed. Somehow i suspect even the upper class struggle to find clean places to eat.

From June to July this year, the continuous high temperature in India has caused great trouble to the lives of local people. Many people have suffered from heat stroke due to the high temperature, and some have even died. Even the TH-cam platform has reported this incident, and South Korea has also made relevant reports. However, it is sad that the comments of Korean netizens are full of racial discrimination against Indians, and they have not expressed any sympathy for the Indians' plight. Although there is no historical grudge between the two countries, the comments of Korean netizens are insulting. Some people even clamor for genocide against Indians, claiming that Indians are the culprits of global environmental pollution, which leads to such severe high temperature weather. Some people also suggested using atomic bombs to blow up the entire India so that the world can become cleaner. This comment actually received as many as 130 likes, which shows how dark and twisted the hearts of Koreans are. Although China and India have border disputes, after reporting the high temperature incident in India, most of the comments of Chinese netizens are to be glad that the temperature in their area is just right, or to share some tips for dealing with high temperatures. People will also discuss where the hot air in India comes from, as well as the problems of the Ganges water and the Indian population. In general, Chinese netizens did not make any racist or anti-human remarks.

Of course I walk everywhere in India. It is a safe country for tourists. I have been in Mumbai, Kolkata(twice), New Delhi, Agra up to Jaisalmer and in the north, Amritsar, shimla, Jammu, Srinagar and Leh. Majority of the Indians are friendly and good people and will protect you from others who may have bad intentions in you. Many times random Indian berate a fixer, driver, vendors, etc. because they were about to rip me off or scam me. In trains, Indians share their food with me. Lately, in my way to Leh in a tiny bus, i was pleasantly surprised when a teen-ager boy bought apples for me. Just amazing people. I love India.
Only if you’re a man. Otherwise, not a good idea for any woman to go without a man. And even with that. If they know your American safety is still questionable when you have a female with you.

Isnt that true for every major country? An Indian youtuber visiting Brazil was warned of the same thing by the locals living there.

It’s a great idea indeed

Only eating Indian dishes at hotel n proper clean restaurant ❤
Not even that, trust me.
