I miss females in hip hop that had something to say.The ones with Knowledge of self. The ones who didn't let eighty fivers dictate what they should put out.
@jabez623 yes its really sucks that there are not many female rappers in mainstream hip hop. But many of our favorite female emcees are still making music today. just have to go on the hunt for it. Like Mc Lyte she has a new album coming out. Thanks for taking the time to watch and listen to LinQue's story n hip hop
💐 Queen like Isis Lin Que she is a phenomenal lyricist I've always wanted to collab with her, from X Clan days I've been down real HipHop heads know flowers to them all I bought there records
It kills me when I hear today's artist claiming to be doing this for the kids and the swear they are doing something positive when all they talk about is Drugs, sex and murder. Lin Que and a lot of others at that time were doing nothing but talking about education, self worth and positive black topics. Topics that the machine has deliberately removed all together.
I remember when "Let it Fall On 'Em" came out. I was obsessed w/it! I would be on the train, walkman in hand, with my backpack, nodding hard, rapping along w/her.
she did say that she didnt wanna change her but she couldve been up there with the Queen Latifah's or the Lil Kims and Foxy Browns if she let THEM market her
When she was around hip hop felt good
one of the most fierce "Femcees" of real hiphop! word life! shouts out to Lin-Q!
I'm glad you took the time to watch. They will be more episodes for Lin Que
She is so talented.
She was the truth we adored her ⚡️⚡️⚡️💛
