love your videos ! just over two weeks of not combing my hair, i had locs two times before one of the times it was partial locs.
Both times i used rip and twist with palm rolling.
I loved them, but was too insecure to embrace myself.
Now I want to go the completely organic/natural way as it suits my lifestyle best, you're such an inspiration!❤
2 months in i just stopped brushing and lettinf it do its thing and your channel i really enjoy and is realy helpfull nad motivating

Can always cut out the middle of hats, seam up the edges and put the locs through the top. Should stay put better than a visor cap

I am semi free forming because i am leaving the military and i want to take control and do something different your channel has give me the motivation to do it. Domi Boy, thanks for the tips, tricks, and wisdom. I'm currently on month 3. However, when I wake up, my hair is super flat (I use a bonnet). I normally use a mist spray bottle and my fingers to wake them up (no twisting and only water). However, do you think this daily moisture from the mist bottle is slowing my locking process?

im not even freeforming but my hair so thick nd dense that even with 2c-3a hairtype nd hightop locks i cant fit any of my hats 😭😭

Same here.. The texture on top of my hair softer but as time progresses its forming into locs.. It just take more time, what I do is use the palm of my hand and go into a circular motion to help guide it

You gotta cut the hole in it. I go to good will find hats that I don’t mind cutting for the locks to pull through.

1000% Brody - it’ll make the process a lot easier. Either a silk pillowcase since it’s super easy or a silk scarf. Helps reduce frizz and breakage, lock in moisture, and keep maintain the baby freeforms if you just starting out!
