    i have terrible back pain looks like is coming from thoracic desiccation and spodolytic changes. i know staying active prevents it. but if i am already in pain, is it suggested and walk or run? or that would actually get it worse now? should i just stick to your excercises for now? thank you so much! i love your video!

    • @AgeFitwithTess
      @AgeFitwithTess  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thank you for the comment. It is much appreciated. Sorry to hear about your back pain. How long have you been doing these back exercises for? This video might also be helpful for you - th-cam.com/video/TdRrBLwY2zE/w-d-xo.html (title says low back, but works to build strength through the thoracic region as well).

      @@AgeFitwithTess i tried just a couple of days, not much tbh my pain is very chronic i have since november 2019 but i also have pain in the arms (2 years) and chest. • @AgeFitwithTess
      @AgeFitwithTess  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Sorry to hear about your chronic pain. Apologies, I should have clarified. The video is titled for low back but the actual bird dog exercise helps to strengthen the muscles all throughout the back. Are you doing any other exercise at the moment aside from the neck exercises in the video?

    • @AgeFitwithTess

      Hi Heba. Thank you for the question. Yes, the cervical and lumbar exercise routines could be used in conjunction with the thoracic routine as part of an exercise program. Hope the exercises have been helpful.

    Tess, would these be suitable for DISH in Thoracic R side? Any other suggestions, please? Raymond H

    • @AgeFitwithTess
      @AgeFitwithTess  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Ray. Good question. These could be helpful for DISH to assist with range of motion in the thoracic spine region. Have you been able to try these or similar exercises yet?

    • @raymondhalpin3400
      @raymondhalpin3400 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks Tess. After a ten minute cycle warm up I do a daily routine involving head to toe stretching and a routine of upper arms and shoulder ROM movements followed by rotations with rod across shoulders. Later in day lower back exercises including 1/2 cobras and cat/cow. I am now using light weights to increase my strength in arms and shoulders. Raymond@@AgeFitwithTess

      @ZHEL. Ybñz with regard to a diagnosis of spondylosis, typically a routine with some range of motion and some strength exercises that can be progressed over time is helpful longer term for pain management. Have you got a diagnosis of spondylosis?
