    Hi! Thanks for your video, I've been looking all over for this specific set up. How did you attach the screws to the front part for the front shelf to rest on? My Rudsta has the hole in a corner angle & I'm looking at it, clueless. 😅 I have 2" L brackets. I've got the back figured out, just really struggling with the front support part. 🙄🥴

    Have you thought about rust proofing the edges of the hole you made? I’d be worried about it rusting with the high humidity

      Thank you so much! I'm glad you found my little video! I got mine from my local hardware. It's the Closetmaid All Purpose shelves. They come in different lengths but the one I got is 12" in width. You can just have it cut to however long you want it! Note that the shelves I got is slightly narrower than the shelves the Milsbo comes with. I wanted to make sure I'd have enough space in the back to accommodate my pegboards, hence why I'm also using L-brackets. 😊

    Lovely video and tutorial! I think this will be very close to my setup! Where did you get the wired shelf and what are the sizing for them?

    • @FoxxandFlora
      @FoxxandFlora  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi! I got them from my local hardware. They're the ClosetMaid SuperSlide shelves. They originally came in white and I just painted them black. They also come in different lengths but the width should be 12". You'll have to measure the glass shelves and cut the wire shelf to the same length. I hope that helps! 😊

  • @asyouaskforit

    Hi, your wire shelves seem to fit perfectly without cutting. What shelves are these and what is the width?

    • @FoxxandFlora
      @FoxxandFlora  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi! I used Closetmaid shelves. They come in different lengths but the width I got is 12". There is some space in the back to accommodate the pegboards. I did have mine cut at my local hardware. 😊

    Did you consider a heat mat, instead of the space heater?

    • @FoxxandFlora
      @FoxxandFlora  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I did but I found that the warm mist on my humidifier was enough to raise the temperature! The space heater is just there in case the temperature drops suddenly! 😊

    Good VDO thank you :) Can I ask how you set the timer for humidifier to run automatically 10 minutes every hour I love to do that but find out my one I have to press turn on for the machine make it work?

    • @FoxxandFlora
      @FoxxandFlora  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi! It only works for knob-type humidifiers. You'll need a smart outlet and you program it to turn on at the start of the hour and turn off after ten minutes. It's a little tedious and you might not be able to do that each hour. My smart outlet only allows 30 actions, and because each hour requires 2 (one to turn on and one to turn off), I can only do that for 15 hours in the day. I hope that helps!

  • @mommychic971
    @mommychic971 3 ปีที่แล้ว

    What is your temperature inside the cabinet?humidity and heat?

    • @FoxxandFlora
      @FoxxandFlora  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      The temperature normally hovers around 83-85°F in the day time and drops to around 75-80°F at night, and I like to keep my humidity at around 80-85%! Note that if you do this and have strong lights in the cabinet, you need good air circulation and you'll probably get a bit of algae! 😊

    Hi! I was wondering how you were able to get the top & bottom hole to perfectly align when drilling the holes! I’m super scared to drill the two pieces separately cause I feel like it’s easy to mess up the alignment of the holes! Super scared that the holes won’t be aligned and I can’t fit a grommet... thank you!

    • @FoxxandFlora
      @FoxxandFlora  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I basically just eyeballed it! 😅 But the bottom and insert are removable so you can mark them before drilling. Just make sure you leave enough space from the edges!

    • @FoxxandFlora
      @FoxxandFlora  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      They come in different lengths but you should be fine as long as you get one that's 12" in width. The length would depend on your cabinet and L brackets you're using. Your local hardware should be able to cut them to whatever length you need! 😊

    May I ask what lights you wanted to switch out to and why?

    • @FoxxandFlora
      @FoxxandFlora  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I completely missed this comment! I didn't have specific ones in mind but I wanted to switch to stronger ones 'cause my Venus Fly Traps and American Pitcher Plants are showing signs of not getting enough light! 😊 They tend to thrive in full sun or partial sun and under the lights I have, they're getting a little too leggy.
