  • Comparing Mythology and Business and Mythology Lecture with Devdutt Pattanaik
On this episode, Cyrus is joined by the brilliant Devdutt Pattanaik, mythologist, speaker, illustrator, columnist & author. Cyrus and Devdutt talk about Devdutt working in the healthcare and pharma industries before becoming an author and mythologist, how he knew he could do all these other things as well, gods with six-pack abs, how he started writing columns for Economic Times, drawing comparisons between mythology and business, life, corporate culture and more, why Devdutt likes to make so many plant and animal references, and lots more. They also discuss Devdutt's TV shows 'Business Sutra' on CNBC TV-18 and Devlok on Epic TV, the lessons one can constantly be learning from mythology, and how Devdutt doesn't believe in absolute truths. All this and tons more on this episode.

Have always been a big fan of Devdutt Pattanaik. Thankyou Cyrus for bringing him over. I dont realise time flying when Devdutt talks. And the way you managed to bring the best out of him by making him comfortable his so sweet.

Are we talking about Cyrus or Devdutt? I asked Cyrus to debate his knowledge once and he just recited a poem and walked away.

😂😂 debate is for shady people. Wisdom is bit different. It's alright you may get it as older you get👍

knowledge is not subject to debate. But it can be increased via sharing/discussion, not debate. Debate means my viewpoint is better than yours. Thats like rat race.
